Florentine is a suburban gem with a tantalising menu featuring fresh seafood dishes, quality Australian meat, and specials that showcase the freshest sea sonal produce.

At Florentine, we employ a passionate team of individuals that continually strive to make your dining experience the best it can be. They are led by our Operations Manager, Benjamin Garrard; Restaurant Manager, Hanne Johnstone; and Assistant Manager Jacquie Aronowicz.

The interior, filled with warm mocha tones, creates an intimate, cosy atmosphere — with two fireplaces to warm you in the cooler weather. The restaurant exudes an understated elegance, with linen tablecloths draping the tabletops, and comfortable dining chairs. The design also features floor to ceiling windows that open in the warmer weather to allow you to enjoy the picturesque scene of Church Street. We were heading to another restaurant when the fireplace with fire drew us into the café. The menu was more than adequate for a Saturday lunch and our food was nice n tasty if a little on the pricey side. The staff were friendly and helped to make our meal enjoyable. Only criticism is that there were too many tables inside and that made life a tad too noisy and moving around, especially with an infant, a little difficult. That said, we’d be happy to return if the opportunity arose.
