This restaurant is ok. The restaurant is definitely pretty noisy, but I went at lunchtime(so that probably explains why), the TV’s always play TVB(HKTV basically). The décor was mid-2000’s, so it wasn’t completely dated. The tables on the side have more comfortable seating than the tables in the middle, but that’s just my opinion. I had the Singapore Fried Noodles with the drink was cold HK-style milk tea. The serving sizes seem to vary, however as I saw. Some were much bigger than others. The Singapore noodles were fairly good. The texture of the noodles was fairly nice, which were fairly crunchy and added colour to the dish which is otherwise yellow due to the curry powder. The onions were crunchy enough, the prawns tasted like frozen ones but that’s not surprising as they keep longer than fresh ones and are cheaper too at wholesale. The milk tea was fairly sweet, probably too sweet for my liking, but some people may like it. The service was really slow during my visit though and getting a waiter took me over 10 minutes(though they were busy, however), the food took about another 10 minutes which wasn’t too long. The final bill was $ 9.80, but the menu I ordered from changes every day and also is only between 11am-5:30pm. They also have a breakfast menu between 8−11am, but I didn’t get a chance to look at it. They also have a fixed mini-dish menu which comes with a drink for $ 7.80, but that’s between 3 – 5:30pm. The standard menu has many more dishes but there’s no drinks with those, where mine included a drink with the price. Overall, I probably will come back to try different dishes.
