Delicious food at an affordable price. Recommend the tapas tasting plate with a filling sample of many different tapas. My wife and I were satisfied with just that, but of course we ordered a few more tapas since they were so delicious. The service was great, the waiters were friendly and attentive. Even though it was busy and we were sitting outside(where we could have been missed) we were well looked after. Atmosphere was positive, friendly and welcoming. Will come again for sure.

The atmosphere is awesome. Service is so so. Food more of the same. They are located right across from Bondi, premium location. It’s one of the first places you see/pass after coming from the Coastal Walk. I stopped in and was ignored for about 10 minutes before the young lady asked me if I needed anything; um yes. I would like to eat. I was seated, and waited a subsequent 10 minutes to have my order taken. Good grief. At this point I’m ready to leave, but I’m so hungry I could faint. Finally, the young lady comes back and takes my order(put the whole thing in– appetizer to entrée, drinks and dessert). Fortunately it came out really quickly. I had chips and guac to start, and the guac was solid. I ordered the jerk chicken with coconut rice as an entrée. I tasted no coconut whatsoever, this was plain sticky rice. Fine, but call it that. The jerk chicken is not jerk at all. It was flavorful and had been marinated pretty good but it was NOT jerk flavor. I finished it off with the white chocolate cheesecake, not very sweet but still very good, and flooded in fresh strawberries. I had a half sangria and it was a win, perhaps the best sangria I’ve had to date. All in all, the place is pricey and the wait is long whether its busy or not, but I left satiated.

This place is a hidden gem. I just had a fried cheese platter and seared tuna. I just moved to the area and needed to come in once I heard Spanish music, I guess it was my way of connecting with home. Food was great, cocktails good too. I didn’t come at a busy time so the waitresses are a little laid back, she forgot to bring my bread at the beginning of the meal. I also wished they would have pointed out the specials menu instead of me noticing it after I had ordered. Seems like a good place to come in group simply because it’s tapas and you have a lot of options to share and not get completely full. Can’t wait to come back to try other things on the menu.

Working 9 – 8 what a way to make a living it’s all taking and no eating, so come 8 you just need to nom nom nom all the way to the kitchen. Tapas time anybody ! Bring on Mojo Café and Tapas bar. Beautifully located with Bondi Beach views only problem is you can’t see it on a wet and miserable Bondi night but I can hardly blame them for that. Walking inside the décor instantly stands out and transforms you to a South American oasis. The place was very homely and inviting. Tapas are small dishes so instantly I think it means your likely to over order but oh well right! Get to sample everything. Began with the Remolacha salad which didn’t look amazing but was surprisingly good. It contained beetroot, roasted sunflower seeds and watercress. Sunflower seeds won me over on this one. Tapas we chose were Garlic Prawns(delicious), Chilli potatoes(yum yum yum), Garlic meatballs(most filling and scrumptious), salt and pepper Squid(a must have when dining near the beach), grilled Artichoke(my fav and surprise choice if you want something different) and the mushroom tapas(flavour was a bit bland unsure of the sauce it was infused in even). Overall very happy with all the tapas besides the mushrooms which were only ok. To was all this down the drink of choice was Sangria. Who doesn’t love wine combined with fruit. Like there wasn’t enough to eat we decided we needed Chocolate empanadas. Very very good choice. When it tastes that good you can have no feelings of guilt. Beautifully presented and still warm when you cracked it open. Accompanied by Strawberry jam and cream dip to combine it with. Delicious. Staff were exceptionally friendly and would go back here again definitely :)

I came here on my first visit to Australia in 2009, and was pleased to discover that it was still in business when I moved here two years later, and was even more pleased when repeat visits were just as good as I remembered. Whenever anyone suggests grabbing food towards the beach, I always suggest this place. Why? Two words — pork belly. Now, I love me some pork products in just about any form, and the pork belly here has been cooked to perfection each time I’ve ordered it — just crunchy enough without feeling like it’s TOO done, fat content perfect but not too overwhelming. Also, they have a watermelon cocktail that is really refreshing and awesome, and I really like the gig posters they pass off as décor. One word of warning — this place gets really busy on the weekends. It’s pretty tiny and gets packed, so plan ahead.

THEWORSTDININGEXPERIENCE I’VEEVERHAD. the guacamole tasted as if it was out of a tube, the shrimp were raw, the chicken was undercooked and rubbery, and the steak had fat all over it and was at first undercooked and then when we requested for it to be cooked more it came back extremely over. the tuna dish that we ordered tasted like cat food. Despite the EXTREMELY tiny portions there were more than two dishes left untouched. when we asked to send them back we were treated with a extremely rude response and were told that it was our opinion and that our opinion was wrong and that it didn’t matter. Everything was way overpriced especially for the size of the portions. I have never made a review about any restaurant in my life but this place was so bad that it warranted a comment. I would never wish that meal upon anyone, you have been warned about this place.

Nice little place. Lovely sangria, and solid guacamole. After we had finished eating and drinking, I was intoxicated enough to leave my phone behind. Our waitress chased us down to return the phone. Not sure if it was due to tipping like Americans, or if the staff is just that great, but I will be sure to visit the next time I am in Sydney.

I really like this Tapas Bar… and whenever i go it’s always full. Situated on the south of Bondi Beach, slightly up the hill, you could very easily walk past the restaurant and not see it. It is slightly hidden as the front of the café almost blends in with the rest of the Bondi scenery. That said, once you walk inside — you’ll be suprised to find a noisy bustling restaurant. The food is tapas — so it’s good to go with friends and order a few dishes. I always find tapas to be a bit deceiving because you end up spending more money more likely than if you ordered one main dish somewhere else… but that said, you get taste variety — which is always a good thing. The food sizes are small… so you will need to order quite a bit of food. The dishes are delicious and full of flavour — so on the taste stakes, you’ll be quite happy. I really like the Tapenade Bread Plate served with dips Tamara, olive tapenade and red capsicum($ 9.00) and Crumbed Green Olives stuffed with ricotta served with pita bread($ 12.00)… Warning to vegetarians… there aren’t too many options… A fun place to go with friends on a Saturday night. It gets busy — so make sure you book.
