Fresh food paradise centrally located in Bondi Beach with tons of fresh produce, meats and other kitchen essentials. I stocked up for my weeklong stay in Bondi and can’t wait to feast on all the freshness in my kitchen.

Was this place in a dream or was it real?
I swear when I walked along and noticed the freshness peeking out at me, I thought I was dreaming. Was I inside a Whole Foods store where the produce lights up the store or was in Bondi?
The berries were so full of color. It blinded me for a moment. I started acting like a cray lady hurrying to get a few packages before they closed. For over a week I was missing my berries for breakfast and here they were right in front of me. HAPPY HAPPY.
When I got back to my hotel I opened a package and it was like heaven. Super flavor and the biggest blueberries I’ve ever eaten. I still can’t get over that. The raspberries were also full of freshness and flavor.
Great place for fresh and healthy foods and equal in quality to a Whole Foods store in the USA.

Now there’s barely a need to leave the Bondi Bubble — as Harris Farm Markets (no relation) provide a selection of fresh food and grocery items that competes pretty favourably in price with the Coles Woolies duopoly.
This slick mini supermarket bang in the middle of Hall Street Bondi is probably 70% fresh produce — put a weekly online order in for the staples and you could probably sell your car and never leave the beach!

How long has this been here? It looks new. Hells, it smells new. I licked one of the walls and, yep, even tastes new.
Bondi has been screaming out for more supermarkets, and big, well-​stocked, healthy ones at that. There’s a ton of bars, and a ton of over-​priced boutiques, but not really that many fresh food retailers. This joint will go off. They’ve got monster stacks of colourful fruit & vegetables, trays of exotic things with even more exotic names, a small goods and meat section, olives stuffed with anchovies, tabouli, pasta salads, fresh juices, vegetable chips, and tons and tons more.
Oh and they were giving away tubs of free yoghurt near the cashiers the day I went. Free yoghurt! What fresh madness is this? I thought about taking two but the woman behind me had judgey eyes so I couldn’t.

From Cold Press Juices in suitably hipster jars, to fresh fruit and veg, meats, teas, nuts and even fresh-​baked pastries, Sydney’s newest Harris Farm has you and your healthy ways covered. Opening just not long before I arrived in Sydney to stay at the next-​door Adina Hotel, I was glad to discover this grocer in such a convenient location. Greeted by a row of fresh flowers (oh I wish how I could have taken home the Peonies) it proved to be a great resource during three days of a work conference.
The staff were friendly and even on Sunday in the buzz of Bondi-​locals stocking up, the line through the checkouts moved quickly.
I thank the fresh ocean trout, hoummus, cucumber and gluten free bread I got here for keeping my breakfast routine in check even though I was away from home.

What a Godsend! They opened the very weekend I was in Bondi for a work conference, and the wealth of heathy options was a welcome alternative to the bags of chips and soda I would have got to snack on instead!
I was able to pick up some amazing fresh juices, a slab of banana bread and a tray of mangoes (yes, I did say tray) at pretty awesome prices. Yay to in-​season fruit!
The variety of health food options are plentiful here too, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on all the awesome grain and dried fruit options you can find here. Of you’re stocking up, you’ll appreciate their offer to help bring your groceries to the car as well!
