Legacy Of India

Several years ago when I met my husband he introduced me to hot food, namely curries, chilli… blow your head off stuff and in time my taste buds gradually adjusted and I love it to this day. But sadly, he cannot tolerate the hot stuff anymore which leaves me to find my fix, alone in my quest to find spicy hot food and then I stumbled upon Legacy of India and learnt there’s one in North Adelaide also. Yum is all I can say! And just as a note they were nominated Asian Restaurant of the Year for their North Adelaide restaurant.
Located between Café Primo and Barnacle Bills, it stands unchallenged plus it’s the only Indian food in Blackwood. I know it’s good quality Indian when I don’t have a queasy tummy the next day and this one passes the test… everything is A ok.
There are two menu’s eat in and take away but for the price it’s marginal, so I’d rather make a night of it and eat out. As for service, how often do you get treated like a VIP at other places… hmmm not very often, here they make a point to do just that and the prices are reasonable also. On the menu is a good choice of vego and non vego dishes and they are more than happy to alter the ingredients according to your preference, we are non fussy carnivores so there wasn’t any problem in choosing our meals.
There is mention of two new Legacy of India rest opening, one at Newton and the other at Mt Barker.
