This is a great alcohol shop with a nice selection of international wines. As a Californian I wished they had more California wines but they do have a few which is much more than most chain liquor stores can offer. Decent liquor and beer selection as well. I’ll never go into a BWS or Liquorland again unless I’m looking for some cheap cooking wine.

Service at the counter was friendly and prompt. A wide range of spirits, wine and beer all priced reasonably well. I have shopped here numerous times due to the prices and range of products for sale. Be careful with the sale prices as they are not always value for money(you can calculate the price per unit measure to be sure as they sadly do not list it). There is some parking out the front and around the side of the building but if you plan to buy a bit grab a trolley as it can be an awkward walk back to the car if you’ve had to park a little bit away from the entrance on a busy day.

For a borderline alcoholic like myself this place is mint. First Choice is by far the biggest booze shop I have ever seen, with a vast range of beer, wine and spirits. The fact that you have the option of grabbing a trolley for your booze as you walk in is a fair indicator of the type of store this is. There’s a big cold room for cartons of booze, not to mention warm ones outside next to a large selection of imported beer. I’m not a wine drinker but there seems to be a shitload of variety in the massive wine section, ranging from cheap clean skins to the expensive stuff. The prices here are always pretty good too, you will often find stuff on sale, and even when its not its better than most small bottle shops.
