Sometimes crossing South Street is a little bit too much like hard work. While I prefer the bottle shop in the Ale House across the road, this joint is pretty decent too. The selection of wine is limited in both places to mid-​range stuff, plus a decent variety of beer and spirits. Prices aren’t as cheap as warehouse stores and are on a fairly even keel with their nearby competitors, but you’ll probably still find buying here is cheaper than driving to First Choice. It’s always very quiet in this store which is a bit of a bonus as far as I’m concerned as it means I can get in and out very quickly.
