Every time I’ve been the meals have been really good and Can’t complain about anything. Good sized portions and good priced food. Everything I’ve tried has tasted amazing. Would go back again

Standard uninspired Café stuff. Ordered the banana Nutella crêpe and got what I could swear was half a serving with crêpe the texture of rubber. Btw, I ordered my Nutella banana crêpe WITHOUT peel.

We travelled here on Thursday night as we were in the area & were looking for a nice quiet place to grab a quick feed & a coffee. We had been past Third Rock café before but never dined there so we decided to give it a go. The café was empty when we arrived there at about 8:30pm. We had a seat and were greeted by the young lady who was quite attentive & polite. I ordered the Barramundi while the others chose the steak, chicken skewers, a chicken foccacia type dish and a couple of servings of garlic bread for the table. The prices seemed to be relatively reasonable at about $ 20 — $ 25 a main. The drinks were out relatively quickly but the food took close to half an hour. Normally I wouldn’t be too concerned but considering we were the only people in the café, I thought it was a touch slow; in saying that though, there might have been only the one chef on at the time. The portion sizes were relatively standard & aligned reasonably with their price. The chicken foccacia was well presented & seemed to be a hit with my friend’s taste buds, as did the chicken skewers for another mate. My barramundi was well-cooked and the cheese sauce really complimented the fish. However, just a couple of things were slightly off. My other mate’s steak seemed to be quite under-cooked for his liking, considering he ordered a medium-well and the garlic bread came out quite cold. Again, it seemed quite light staff wise so maybe they were short but it was a touch off the mark. Overall though, the food was decent and the portions were quite fair. We finished off with a coffee which was actually quite nice and the young lady was always quite attentive. However, the overall experience seemed just a touch average & a little bit lack luster on the«passion» side of things. The café had no significant atmosphere and the décor is relatively simple. The waitress did her best to create an ambience but it just lacked any unique traits or sense of culture. Overall, the food was okay, the service was satisfactory & the pricing was reasonable but again, the experience was just short of impressive. Good food & good prices but a little bit«hollow» in terms of experience.

I’ve been eating at Third Rock on and off for a few years. It’s always a safe option if you don’t know where to go, or what to eat. A great local restaurant, Third Rock’s service and food is consistent and always delicious. The creamy chicken and mushroom risotto is phenomenal as is the chicken and pine nut pasta. Portion sizes are large, but not overboard, and the prices are reasonable. With a combination of Asian and Mediterranean influences there are options to suit even the fussiest pallet. The restaurant is quite large, and it’s easy to move around(unlike some restaurants where you have almost impale the person behind you with their own dinner). For this reason, it’s a great place for families– even if you’re travelling with a stroller. Located on King George’s Rd, right down the street from Beverly Hills Railway Station, Third Rock is the perfect spot to grab a pre– or post– movie dinner(Beverly Hills Cinema is just across the road).

Found right on the strip of restaurants at Beverly Hills, this is the place to go before(or after) your movie date. The place stays open til late and is right across the road from Beverly Hills Cinema. It’s the perfect place to dash to on all counts. The food is reasonably priced, but definitely take advantage of their menu specials. The specials are really good and come cheap at $ 20 a main. The teriyaki salmon is a regular order of mine, it is a little sweet but the fish is always really soft(but not overcooked). My partner’s dish of the lamb shanks was pretty decent and quite a large serving. You’ll find a lot of couples at this place, sitting down for a late night meal or for ice cream. We ordered a cheesecake for dessert to share(we were rather full), which we found pretty ordinary since they obviously just buy their cakes and don’t make them on the premises. On average you’ll find you spend about $ 20-$ 25 per person, so it’s decent food for a decent price.
