Pancakes on the rocks have always been a very average place to go to ever since my first time at the one in The Rocks. I of course went to to pancakes on the rocks when they opened up in Beverly Hills. cause most franchises would have different owners and different chefs and wait staff etc. so it’s always thst possibility that this could be the one that is half decent. first went there for breakfast which was half decent and then moved to dinners which ended up being as horrible as all all the others and the pancakes desserts aren’t crash hot, but not a bad flavour. Would never finish it cause it either gets to dry cause there isn’t enough topping for the pancakes towards the bottom or the texture of the pancake throws you off later on The menu is not bad priced, but of course there is very average food that comes along with it. Personally i wouldn’t recommend anyone I know to visit this place, especially when you have Oliver Brown across the road and some other small yet cosy cafes close by. the only thing this place has over the others is that they are open a bit later. P. S. have found the wait staff and the people that work there to be fun and kind people and that it’s only the food at this place that lets the place down…

The PotR here opened up on in the haunted/cursed building on the corner of King Georges and Stony Creek. I’ve seen a number of businesses come and go on that spot and, so far, they’ve all been rubbish. PotR does not shift from this formula. You can get better pancakes at cheaper prices elsewhere. They are not bad — just expensive and overrated. The rest of their food either fits this description or is plain bad — but why order ribs at a pancake joint in the first place?

Yes the pancake is good but not as good as other places. Even though is closer to strathfield and the rock but i rather go there to taste better food. This is not a good franchise:(

Most of the pancake dishes don’t come out with enough syrup/icecream imo. probably because the pancakes are so thick. Once you run out, you’re forced to eat dry pancake :(could be a good idea to order an extra scoop.

You know, as the name suggests they serve pancakes. And as a surprise my beloved decided to take me to pancakes… well, I can’t say why but it was a good reason and plus it was my birthday. Happy birthday me! Either way, their pancakes always hit the spot and one of these days I’ll steal their kitchen implements so that I have fluffy pancakes too. Is it the mixture? Do they double pour? Why is the chocolate pancakes so very yummy??? Staff and seating were plentiful during the weekday we visited. Staff were friendly, nice and attentive and we really didn’t have much to complain about.

Food looked nice. Tasted terrible. My banana milkshake had the consistency of a glass of milk and tasted like it too. The pancakes were flavorless. Had a terrible dining experience. Now I understand why Pancakes on the Rocks is a hit among hungry drunk people who are looking for a place to eat after a night out. Their food can only taste ok if you’re $hit faced. On the positive side, the food was cheap for Sydney.

Been once since it opened the same as all Pancakes on the rocks restaurants, so its GR8 but i always leave feeling lethargic and not needing a pancake fix for another 6 months. GR8 to see that spot at Beverley hills finally have a restaurant that will flourish.

Big restaurant, expect waits that go out the door at peak times. We arrived at 9.30 am on a Sunday and had a 15minute wait on line, then about a half hour wait for food and drinks. Pancakes were reasonably priced, at around $ 12-$ 15 but were disappointing. I had the Strawberry Patch, and the pancakes were bland. My sweetie had a chocolate concoction and they were horrible — they were all doughy like they’d been left sitting too long. Special mention to the ice tea — it’s homemade and comes with syrup that you pour in and adjust to your taste. Very reasonably priced too at $ 2.75. My recommendation — don’t bother unless you’re desparate!
