While every Manmaruya is unique. Yes, there are other Manmaruya Restaurants, in fact there are 4 of them in Sydney, located in Campsie, Hurstville, Ashfield, and their newest is Beverly Hills. But this particular Manmaruya is especially unique than the rest, even they have a different menu here. This is because they offer Yakiniku or Japanese BBQ. We had Beef Tongue and Pork Cheek which came seasoned ready to be barbecued. The meat was of good quality and tender. We also had Karaage Chicken, which always taste consistently good, and some mini Sushi rolls to keep the kids happy. The only disappointment I had was when I made reservation once, but when we got there on time we were made to wait for an hour for our table. There were some people there that walked in without reservation and got their table first. This happened only once, therefore I can consider this a one-off and hopefully won’t happen again. But in saying that, I don’t make reservation anymore in this place since the incident, I just walk in and wait like everyone else!
