Distrykt Coffee

Set alongside a gym and car wash in the carpark of Beldon shopping centre.
I had driven past many times and seen Distrykt and thought I would just give it a try. It used to be Laughing Gecko
Ok, Organic and healthy choices, great but you could pass from old age by the time you get served. 4 Customers including us (2 people). My friend had her order and I waited a further 7 minutes to receive my order.
My friend ordered a cappuccino and health slice, and I had pre-​ordered a caramel frappuccino. (3 minute pre-​order).
Cappuccino looked same as any other cap, but definitely nothing inspiring (no coffee art, BUT that doesn’t define a decent coffee). The slice was heavy and unable to be cut with the spoon provided, my friend commented that it could be used as part of the road resurfacing.
Now frappuccino’s, I have soft spot for these on a hot day, Starbuck’s, Gloria Jean’s, Jamiaca Blue. Unfortunately I wasn’t at one of these stores and received watery iced coffee but with no ice and little or no coffee. It tasted like they tipped the used coffee grounds into a dirty sock and strained it into my cup.
No thick icy texture, no strong smell or taste of coffee, no cream or caramel on the top. Poorly presented.
Disgusting, in hindsight I should have gone to Woolies and grabbed a pre-​packaged Ice Coffee.
