Mann Winery is a small winery with the cellar door upstairs and the processing is done downstairs; there is full view from the cellar door. The winery is on top of a hill with the Swan river running behind it. It’s a great spot to watch the Avon Descent — there were many people watching the race along the banks. They do both a sparkling rose and sparkling white as well. In my opinion the wines aren’t overly sweet like many other sparkling, the rose is fruity though. The wines are both reasonably priced. They open August 1 each year and stay open until their vintage is sold out. So if you know the wine and you love it, the first week of August is when you should visit. We bought half a dozen!
