Alta Laguna is a beautiful night stroll. Situated conveniently across the road from a popular Italian restaurant(Villa Da Vinci) this park is ideal for walking off any guilty over indulgences from the evening. I stumbled upon this park by accident, and was well impressed with the scenery– moonlight adding to the magic. Once, through the large leafy oaks lining the road, there is a bicycle path that runs circumnavigates the entire park. Some gorgeous houses also face the park so at one point you walk passed what feels like a row of display homes– decked out beautifully some continuing the theme of water features similar to emu lake within the park. One house in particular has a japanese themed garden emitting total zen from red umbrellas. There are also some well positioned benches around the path, providing a great reason to stop and soak up the ambience.. . this lasted about 2 minutes on my visit due to the mosquitoes feasting on me. There is a beautiful energy about this park and I shall be sure to return, perhaps in less nocturnal hours to see the beauty by day.
