The Chase is my local and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and friendly. $ 10 cocktails every Sunday. Winning combination in my book.

Booked for a party of 25. was told had to give credit card details?
Was told if everyone doest turn up. its a 10 dollar cost per person?, never heard of such a thing. very disheartening. Wont go back .what a great way to dampen the evening. hoping everyone turned up. is this how businesses operate now… poor.

Been a few times at night with mates for a few drinks. Always had a good night. Friendly staff. Go some Sundays with friends and kids. They have a children’s entertainer there for free, doing a different activity every week, which is great so parents can have a little time to catch up.

From the outside it looks like a pretty decent establishment but, sadly, the actual experience doesn’t meet the initial impression.
From the way too high ceilings that create an awful echo when busy to the feed trough bistro, The Chase is let down by the details. The bar menu and some of the bistro meals are pretty good, but there is a definite feel of frozen cooked instead of the preferred fresh cooked.
And avoid the sports bar out the back, full of fluoro’d workers smashing stubbies way too quickly.
