Thank you Daniel for the best restaurant service I have received in a long He up sold us very smoothly and it actually added to our experience. It’s obvious why the they are packed on a Tuesday night! We will defiantly be back.

We wanted a quick and easy dinner on the way home from from work and popped in to Fasta Pasta. We ordered the Focaccia Rosso which was delish. Then we shared the Ravioli Fantasia and Fettuccini Mona Lisa. The fettuccine not as creamy as expected bit still nice and the ravioli lovely with loads of garlic.

I’ve been to this fasta pasta twice before and ate in… So we thought we’d order pasta to go. My husband called to make our order and the female staff member was a complete bitch. So my husband walks down the road 10 – 15 minutes later to retrieve our order and ends up waiting over an hour only to be told our order was given to someone else. They offered to cook our order again but at this point we were fed up. Upon asking them to give us a refund instead the staff member in a very bitchy tone turned to the chef and said«don’t bother making it». Apparently telling them when they have made a mistake is offensive. We won’t be returning here.

So if you want great pasta, I’d suggest buying a bottle of pasta sauce and make it yourself rather than getting pasta from this Fasta Pasta restaurant. Okay, perhaps that’s a bit too mean, but I think pasta at this place is really not worth paying for. It does however come down to personal preferences, so if you want something a little bland, then this is the place to go. The staff are wonderful and I have a good feeling the chefs intend on doing a good job, but they are most likely just following Fasta Pasta’s pre-planned recipes. So, it may not be their fault. Pasta is one of those things, you don’t want anyone to screw it up! Otherwise, you’re left with the bill for uneaten food.

I have a weakness for home made ‘tasting’ pasta. And this is why I have a soft spot for Fasta Pasta. Having said this though, it does take quite a lot of zing zing and more zing to mess the sauces up. Mess the taste of a good home made pasta up. And get my order wrong. This was my experience at the Fasta Pasta Aspley. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese… easy yes? I like the pasta, now pop some of the bolognese sauce on and bob’s my uncle. Yes? No apparently. Out came a carbonara with spaghetti. So they took it back, but I had to wait a good 20 minutes for someone to see my signal and come get the wrong pasta to take back. The chef(I swear he did) gave me a look… the kind of look which tells me he might just hock a loogie into my food… and after over an hour my spaghetti bolognese came out… being too afraid to eat the food after the look my experience there was crushed. My spirit tainted and my hunger at an all time low. The pasta was okay at best, I could have made it better at home unfortunately… which defeats the purpose of eating out in the first place. Not the best experience here, not sure if i’m the only one. Not sure if the waiters are even that competent.
