The best sushi train in Brisbane, and I’ve been to a lot of them! I eat here weekly and it’s fantastic. A good range is going around at popular lunch/dinner times, or there’s menus to order from. The staff are always polite and happy to fulfil your request. There are traditional rolls and ships, plates of fried or raw foods, and bowls of curry or noodles to choose from. The food is tasty and always good quality.

No menus to choose from and limited range of dishes on the«train»…(Sorry, I need a menu to order sushi). The sushi I tasted was okay but the fresh gyoza i grabbed as it was added to the train was tasteless and bland. With new sushi bars popping up almost everywhere it’s hard to imagine this will last.

I sometimes stay in this area and this is the closest Sushi that also happens to be open whenever I’ve been looking for food. Unlike the other sushi places I’d read about on Racecourse road that I’ve tried multiple times to visit. Now, don’t get your hopes up. This isn’t high quality, it’s more of a medium to low grade. The first time I visited I was disappointed to see some very unfresh plates going around where the rolls looked dried out(maybe because they are all uncovered), avocado visibly darkening and dishes that should be served hot were stone cold. I ordered some fresh plates and it was okay. The Aburi salmon was the pick of the bunch. I had arrived in that awkward time after lunch and before dinner. So I decided to give it another try. The second visit was better. A lot of options covered in sauces, which are yummy but also overpower the taste of the sushi underneath it. Lots of very basic and chicken based dishes, it’s a very westernized selection. I think this place is best suited for quick meals, take away for people who aren’t too experimental or familiar with sushi. So stop on here before you grab your groceries from next door but I wouldn’t dine out here. Plates start at $ 3.50 and go up, which I think is really overpriced for the base level plates but it IS a very expensive area. The shop has a good large amount of seating but very sparse decoration. It feels quite bare and a bit depressing? They have a visual menu to help with ordering and a good range of drinks. In my experience the staff have been a mix of lovely and helpful or bored and completely ignored me.
