Jeff Joseph Reserve

Just got back from a sunset run along this foreshore, the sky was a spectacular explosion of orange and pink, and the city panorama was alight in the background. There were two blokes fishing on the sanded bay of the Swan River — having a couple of beers, some young families picnicking and playing in the sprawling grassed area, and an elderly couple walking down the jetty. I know it all sounds a bit vomit-​ey, but I had to write about it because it was one of those uplifting, life-​is-​wonderful moments. Such a great stretch of river foreshore, and you get to check out some of the hideous (and breathtaking) McMansions of Applecross.
