Previously by another incarnation, the Gallery Café, Black Toast has served good coffee to us for years. The owner is a friendly guy, but he doesn’t make the coffee well, so avoid. Good food and the place is huge, which it definitely does not look like from outside. Get a space down the back in winter and outside the front in summer.

Hidden gem! The front façade of this café restaurant assumes that it’s rather small. But after I peaked my head in its big! They have an open floor in the back with sunny seating. Super eclectic with unmatching chairs, local artwork, rustic décor. Water served in glass milk jugs The downstairs acts as a function room and today they are selling Mother’s Day flowers. The specials board notes chorizo eggs, birdie breakfast, and a breakywrap. I’m only peckish so eggs on toast. Around $ 14 and $ 4 for

Yay I am indeed a fan! I am really starting to like this place. I loathed it when it was The Gallery as the Staff were so rude but now that it has changed hands, I find myself walking there multiple times a week. The staff are so lovely(always offer to help with my pram every single time I go) and the food is yummy. They have special milkshake/thickshakes every fortnight(?) and its fun to try them. The food is delicious, haven’t had a bad meal there yet.
