Specialties
Chasers Restaurant & Function Centre is an integral part of greyhound racing in South Australia. Located just 15 minutes from the centre of Adelaide at Angle Park (no, not Angle Vale) just off South Road opposite Regency Park it’s a complete doddle to get to with heaps of on-site parking.
The Bistro is open for Race meets, namely Monday and Thursday nights as well as Wednesday afternoons. While the famous Chasers Buffet is ready to see if you can make a dent in it each and every Thursday evening from just $ 30.50 per adult (kids half price) and includes entry to the track. From couples to cricket clubs on their annual fundraiser everyone has a top time the dogs.
Chasers is also available to hire for private functions and weddings, take a look at the gallery as the venue looks great when it’s all dressed up for a function.
History
Established in 1972.
In May 1990, additional investment was made to upgrade the upper level facilities which included the establishment of a first class restaurant, bistro and lounge bar. All these facilities overlooked the racetrack.
In 1994, with the support of the Government, a portion of the Harold Tyler Reserve (Greyhound Park) at Angle Park was purchased to provide GRSA with its own freehold property facility.
