This café has a nice outlook over the park, after coming here for several years the service level has dropped with new owners and the menu is exactly the same. With so many great cares nearby its only laziness that brings people back. Sorry to say it is underwhelming.

Was okay… nothing special. The eggs were poached in a mould, which was a bit tacky.

If someone would have asked me for a great brunch neighborhood, I would probably recommend strolling down the streets of Paddington or Surry Hills. It would never really cross my mind to mention Alexandria as an area that has hip cafes or restaurants. It really isn’t. But for someone who wants an affordable meal that is good quality, there are several places that fit this criterion. I recently went to Park Café since it was recommended to me by a friend, and I was quite pleased. It’s located right across from Alexandria Park, hence its name. There is a spacious outdoor seating area in the front that offers serene views of the park(it’s nothing special, but its always nice to look at greenery). The café is super casual with clean but minimal décor, and the food is very good. I would really recommend the eggs benedict, which is lightly doused in a delicious hollandaise sauce. The eggs are perfectly poached and served on thick toast. It was very pleasant sitting out here, as playful dogs sat obediently by their masters. The friendly service is on point and very accommodating.
