Since 2005, The Cupcake Queens have been supplying Melbourne with quality cupcakes for those that are serious about their sweets. With our flagship store in Williamstown opening in May of 2010, it has become a destination for those in search of Melbourne’s finest cupcakes.

Our cupcakes are baked on site daily, using only the finest, freshest ingredients and wherever possible produce from local suppliers. Come and visit our store and stop by and say hello and try our fresh, moist and melt in your mouth cupcakes!

History

Established in 2005.

Monique Milenkovic founded The Cupcake Queens In June of 2005, after searching for a cupcake tower for her Wedding in Melbourne. She could not find anything that looked beautiful and tasted fabulous. Not a single cupcake could be found, so, Monique decided to start baking her own…

After the creation of the website we started to receive many enquiries that ranged from weddings, milestone birthdays, religious occasions right through to the classic morning tea.

During this time Monique also started to sell at farmers markets. This was invaluable in getting face-​to-​face feedback from customers, whilst promoting our product and brand at the same time.

With the advent of the online store, The Cupcake Queens quickly transformed from a make to order special occasion bakery to a commercial enterprise catering to the broader consumer demand.
