Instantly this café reminded me of an old American diner. Classic outdated interior with an old school traditional vibe — judging by the photos around the place it has been around for awhile! The menu offered standard burgers, sandwiches, salads, soup of the day as well as main dishes such as pies, steaks and Fish and chips. Many dishes offer the choice of a side of chips, potato jacks or dampier(good ol country). They also offer a kids menu and a range of desserts. Table service provided which was definitely quick but a little off the mark. I ordered a chicken toasted Turkish focaccia and asked for no mango chutney but low and behold. mango chutney I got! The prices are quite high especially given the pretty average quality of food. My focaccia was nothing special but was priced at an expensive $ 15. Probably wouldn’t return here!

disappointing change to the Dylan’s burger patty — more like sausage meat rather than the meaty patty of the past :( there is now seating available upstairs. Town gossip of the place changing ownership.

Retro inspired diner with a rather epic menu of choices. Nice location overlooking the entertainment centre and harbour. Great alfresco seating outside. We ordered the Caesar salad and chicken kebab, decent portions and okay tasting. Service a tad slow but nothing to stew about.

Like John says, it’s not great and it’s not bad. It does the job in satisfying the hunger but it’s not spectacular. The burgers are huge and come with a serving of chips. There is a large selection to choose from the menu. One of the few places open on a Sunday morning in Albany.

Not great, but not bad. Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Far from it. But without a booking and some hungry kids, it was a handy alternative. Big menu, so plenty to choose from.
