I love this place! The freshly made dumplings are simply outstanding and can’t be beaten! Chicken and Sausage Rice and the Pork Buns are also of excellent quality. The food is very reasonably priced also, which is great. I will keep returning as long as the dumplings keep getting made!

Seriously, who can go wrong with yum cha on demand? It’s always fresh(despite what the plastic moulded display food looks like) and they pump out enough of it that you usually get great stuff. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that sometimes the squid is a bit hit and miss but everything is usually excellent.

Quietly making Adelaide’s best dumplings since I don’t know when. Wong Kee Daily Yum Cha is one of the greatest food hall stalls of all time. I don’t know how many of their dumplings I have eaten, but I know that I always eat too many. I simply can’t resist going another set. Their dumplings are simply the best in town. Made fresh continuously throughout the day, they are always perfectly steamed and bursting with flavor. Their deep fried octopus tentacles are also excellent. A range if noodles, soups and other dishes are available — and they are all good — but, honestly, visiting Wong Kee and not going on an uncontrollable dumpling frenzy just seems like a waste. Highly recommended.

Wong Kee is the third of what I regard as the top 3 food stalls in the Chinatown food court, they also seem to be the most popular. They specialise in Yum Cha and they always have dozens of steamers all set so that you very rarely have to wait for your order. I have often had a meal from one of the other stalls and a side of prawn dumplings, steamed dim sims or pork buns. They really do go down a treat! Probably not the best quality Yum Cha you will ever see, but they sure do their job well! I have also had their soup dumplings as a meal and it was pretty super actually. Where the soup itself was slightly lacking in flavour, the pork dumplings more than made up for as they exploded in your mouth! Make sure to grab some of the Chilli Soy Oil to dip your yum cha of choice in… hot, salty goodness!
