Want to chew on a stick of meat? Yeah you know you do.
This place sells much more than mettwurst thank god. Grab your chili biltong, jerky, salami, chorizo, pepperoni and more here. All made GF and naturally smoked and at ridiculously good prices. $ 3.50 for a large, fresh made chorizo sausage? Bargain.
It’s the perfect spot to buy Dad a Father’s Day gift or to challenge a group of boys to see who’s the real man amongst the lot. Ever tried to eat through a bum burner sausage in 1 minute?* Good luck.
Really helpful owners/​staff in the shop and a great little institution of the Central Markets.
*This review is totally not and endorsement for any kind of food eating challenge. But let’s face it, you’re a bigger man if you do.

The Mettwurst Shop stall in the Adelaide Central Markets has a delicious range of… Mettwurst. Some spicy, some ridiculously mild, of different shapes, sizes and flavours. The guys that work there love the stuff and can tell you what you need to fulfil your requirements, whatever they may be.
Take some home and put them on a cheese platter, a pizza or just a sandwich, the Mettwurst shop meats are really tasty… and gluten free.

My dad is particularly fond of Metwurst, and my half-​brother being a butcher doesn’t help this addiction. As well as this shop situated in the Markets. He’s always stopping by here to grab a ‘Bum Burner’ or two. I can usually hack the fiery flavours (I was once a well-​known consumer of Wasabi Nuts).
At the time a pepper filled sausage to snack on during family gatherings has given a nice appetiser to the main meals.

I am very fond of mettwurst, and the mettwurst shop puts up damn fine mettwurst if little else.
Specializing in locally produced mettwurst of the highest quality, and with taste sensations such as garlic and red wine mettwurst it is hard to look past this shop.
Great in a sanga, on a pizza or just by itself the Mettwurst shop can satisfy all your mettwurst needs.

When you… well…poop, do you get a burning sensation around your… well…poop hole? You don’t? Well, get your non-​hot ass to the Mettwurst Shop in the Central Market and buy yourself a ‘Bum Burner’. What is this wonderous sounding creation I hear you ask? Well, a Bum Burner is a stick of stupidly spicy (hot), chilli infused Peperoni covered in Chilli Flakes and Seeds… Descriptions aside it is around 6 inches of super hot amazingness that makes pizzas a right man challenge!
Of Course The Mettwurst Shop sells all kinds of Metwurst and like products, but the Bum Burner is where it is at!
