I recently made my first purchase at Ted’s only a few weeks ago, and I could not be anymore happier. They even matched price with an online site of the lens I was looking into and I managed to get it cheaper by several hundred dollars than their competitors such as Diamonds and the other retailers Harvey Norman and JBHIFI! Staff are quite nice and knowledgeable, they really know their stuff so that’s really reassuring. The first time I walked in to place an order the lady who served me wasn’t very enthusiastic or very friendly but everyone else there were lovely so that’s okay. They take their time with each customer and don’t try to rush and force you into buying things.

I’ve ventured into Teds Cameras a number of times to look at the prices they have for their DSLRs, but I haven’t bought anything from there yet. They do have a pretty good range of cameras, but their range in camera bags etc is really good. The staff are always friendly when I walk in, offering their help.

Teds Cameras is conveniently located on Rundle St and has a good range of the latest in digital cameras, SLRs, lenses and video cameras. Every time I have come here the staff are always friendly but service is slightly slower. Queuing is almost inevitable, except for the odd occasion. It’s not a super busy store, but there are always customers going in and out. I bought my Sony Cybershot a couple of years ago from here for a reasonable price, and the staff were really helpful in terms of which brand/series to choose from, what would best suit my needs, and what prices they were willing to offer. Now, I go in to check out SLRs(still saving!) and they are still friendly and helpful as ever.
