It’s weird, because you would think that with the body’s these guys have, they would have massive ego’s that risk being shattered with all the laughter going on in the audience. I have worked at a female strip club and it’s an entirely different experience to that of Madame Josephines. Firstly, Men like to ogle creepily whereas women point and giggle in a charmingly girly way/irritating. most women don’t try to stalk the strippers afterwards either. The menu, is well, not my cup of tea, but I’m sure if you were drunk enough it would be just fine! It’s a great show, I’m a big fan, muscles everywhere, great night out with the girlies. You do need to book before hand and there is deposit to pay as well, sadly we only get to perve on saturday nights, bookings need to be made a week prior.

I bitch and moan enough about my job as a reviewer my friends are sick of hearing about it. So, they definitely KNOW I’m a reviewer. But they decided to help me out one time, which I was grateful for. They gave me an address to check out. I didn’t Google it, I just went for it. When I got there, I looked at Madame Josephine’s, calmly nodded to myself, turned and left. On the bus home, however, I regretted it. I SHOULD’ve gone in. Otherwise my friends would’ve won their stupid little game. So, I called up a bunch of other friends(only girls), and begged and pleaded for them to come with me to Madame Josphine’s. None of them had ever been before, so they were keen for a laugh(those who were willing to fork over the cash necessary). And so we burst in. I always try my best not to be surprised at anything, but I can honestly report I was shocked as hell. They don’t hold anything back at Madame Josephine’s. Not like at strip clubs with women. It’s just BOOM! NAKED! And again, these places don’t work for women as they do for men. Women aren’t aroused nearly as much. We men just aren’t all that physically attractive to them. The penis isn’t a good-looking instrument. All the girls I were with spent most of the time laughing and giggling about it, and later, after we left, they spent the entire time making jokes. Not once did they make any sort of remarks about any attraction they felt for the dancers.(Though, of course, I’m sure that such feelings down need vocalisation to exist. But you get what I mean.) A lot of my reviews end with me recommended a place for a first date. Perhaps you wouldn’t think this is the best place for a first date(and perhaps it’s not), but if you want to really shock your date, take her to see some naked male dancers. That’s a date she won’t easily forget. P. S. My score is very diplomatic. Personally, I’d like to give it lower, but that’s not a fair representation of the place.

Most of the time when I was eighteen, I had no trouble thinking of new places to go where I hadn’t yet completely embarrased myself. One night though, things were looking dire. I got desperate — my friends wanted to go to Supermild AGAIN and I had to think of something else. Drunk and running out of options my friends and I walked straight-faced through the door of Madame Josephine’s. The first thing I saw was a naked man with a massive boner, rising out of the soap suds of the same blue plastic shell shaped children’s wading pool I owned when I was five. I can’t say that at any point I was particularly aroused or attracted to any of the men, but I got my kicks laughing at my friends getting nervous as buff naked men gave them lap-dances in tiny white towels. The vodka cruisers weren’t that much more expensive than anywhere else either! Totally trashy, excellent, good times.

Ok it’s a little daggy and probably not worth 4 stars if you break it down but it’s the atmosphere and the fun that makes it better. And seriously there would not be a female in Adelaide that hasn’t attended one of these Shows(and plenty of males too)! They are usual spots for hens nights in particular. You can ring the number anytime but they only do one male revue show here a week — on Saturday nights. And you have the option of dinner and show or show only. So the foods not fantastic or top quality restaurant stuff but honestly it’s under $ 50 for dinner and the show and when there’s a naked male standing in front of you you really don’t notice what the food’s like! It’s only $ 22 to just go to the Show! That’s probably about as much as adult channel on pay per view and these are real live breathing men in the flesh! Seriously tho’, Madame Josephine puts on an amazing show and is a fantastic compere. Great night out and heaps of laughs! Psst…if you go for the Show take your eyes off the men long enough to make sure you get some deep fried camembert when they bring out the entrée’s — melt in your mouth every time! And yes I have pics!!! …but didn’t upload them as it would cause too much work for Cyber Nanny!
