I have to give this park three stars, not four, because I figure we went there too early — not too early in the day, but too early in our daughters lives. Invited to a childrens party in the bike park we went along, bikes stuffed in our car, and found — well — chaos. Our girls are… girls… yeah, dressed pink and frilly and young enough they were still on training wheels(so were most of the rest of the party, too) and quite overawed by the streams of boys going round at rocket speed. A number of growly dads were enlisted to ensure that we could maintain enough space for the younger kids to at least be able to circulate, and to help a few up the steeper slopes when they needed it, but this definitely isn’t a spot for small children — bigger kids with bike skills clearly do have an absolute ball here though. So yes, A-OK — I’m not a fan, but might be if I had two boys and needed them to burn off some energy. If the girls bikes weren’t down at Victor I’d definitely consider taking them again these days — and do a few laps myself, too.

Bike and BMX fans report here! A perfect park for boys with bicycle ramps, tracks and mini hills to mimic a MTB Series race. Bring your helmets, an esky, a picnic basket(for those hungry moments), a hat and a tool box should the bike chains give way. Popular with the boys no doubt, this bicycle track promises lots of fun, thrill and excitement as you navigate slopes, mini hills, high and low ramps and perhaps throw in a turn and twist leap in the air. Plenty of shady spots, benches, a walking trail for mums to enjoy and a huge adjoining park for a game of footy, cricket or simply throw a frisbee.
