Wars would be over in a heartbeat if everyone the world over got to try, even just taste, the soft glazed donuts on offer at Krispy Kreme. It’d a little slice of heaven, baked and wrapped in a designer Krispy Kreme box. A happy place where I can forget about my wasteline and indulge on a donut, or two… Or a dozen. Yeah, I’m starting to feel a bit sick now. Why did I buy a dozen? Oh, and look they gave me some free ones too. Now I feel guilty, but I know next time I pass by I’ll be right in here again. Scoffing my face on those delicious donuts.

Me: «Hey, I’d like a strawberry milkshake please.» Cash register attendant: «Is that regular or large?» Me: «Regular please. Oh and I’d like a strawberry glaze donut too, please.» Cash register attendant: «Is that all?!» Me: «Can I get that strawberry milkshake include in the free donut and drink deal, like you have up there?» Cash register attendant: «Um…YEA!!!»(in a rude tone, as if she meant to say D’uh, while giving me a disgusted facial expression for no reason). Me: «Can I also order an additional Banana Caramel donut and normal bubble tea for my girlfriend here?» Cash register attendant: «…»(doesn’t reply and then grumpily moves to grab the banana caramel donut, as if they didn’t feel like grabbing it) Me: «Okay…thanks.»(end of conversation while I grumpily gave my credit card). Honestly, after that interaction, I wanted to ask this particular staff member what the problem was and to explain the display of such grumpiness while serving customers. Look everyone, I understand this particular staff member looks like they have just finished(or just about to finish high school) and therefore lacks experience, but can management please ensure all your staff receives customer service training before they start working for you?! This downright rude interaction has ruined the start of my weekend. I’m buying Krispy Kreme elsewhere from now on.
