Half of the motivation behind frequenting a shop or service provider is the attitude they have towards what they do — and half is about how they treat you as a customer. Here in the most central part of Rundle Mall in Adelaide you have quite a few choices of places to grab a fresh juice; ‘Fresh on Rundle’ shot themselves in the foot as far as I’m concerned, when they ignored me waiting to be served for as long as I would care to wait, about six minutes, before I realised there were about three other places I could get some carrot and apple juice that would take less time to walk to than I’d already waited just to be served. If you know my reviews you will have formed some opinion about me as a writer — I consider myself quite fair and always ready to give people a go. The problem when a negative is so consistent that you can just about guarantee that something is going to be a ‘particular way’ — like bad service or a lack of service full stop — well — in my book it is beyond my patience. I can understand as a one off having to wait a few minutes if someone is busy, but if they are simply having a chat with the other person behind the counter, and they seem to still be having the same chat behind the counter three days later when I return to graciously give them another chance… but they’re still slow to respond — well forget it. I’ll go elsewhere thanks. I’ll also feel like my dollar is appreciated elsewhere because the service is everything to me. If you are left — the only customer waiting at a stall, while the workers are busy chatting it just seems pointless to hang around at whatever the cost.

One word. Awesome. This place is my best friend on a hot day, because they do the most amazing freshly squeezed fruit juices. It’s one of those things that when you’re walking past on a forty degree day, and you catch the smell of the fresh fruit, you cant help but stop. They also sell fruit, ice cream, and other cold beverages.
