A different business model from the original Fasta Pasta. I really enjoy the experience here, being able to customise your meal from the type of pasta to the type of sauce is quite good. The attitudes of the staff vary greatly sometimes, however they are somewhat efficient with their job. I always order the gnocchi pasta, and it is always cooked perfectly. The prices are cheap and is certainly a nice comfort food for the Winter.

Went here a couple weeks back for one of their $ 9.90 lunch specials. Nestled in the heart of Rundle Mall, this Fasta Pasta contains a restaurant and café area with a small yet tasty menu. One thing that makes this fasta pasta experience different to the others is the fact that you basically customize your meal in three steps. First, you pick a pasta. They have a good range of different types to choose from. You can have fettuccine, spaghetti, penne, spiral, potato gnocchi, spinach and ricotta ravioli, meat ravioli, chicken tortellini or risotto. Secondly, you pick a sauce. They have quite a few to choose from too. I really like the system to get a great bowl of pasta for lunch. The serving size is very generous and you certainly don’t have to wait long.

Went there twice now, this time I’d one of the $ 7.90 Winter lunch deals; Beef Burger Panini with Chips! Being a special deal, in my mind I was thinking the burger is probably gonna be a slightly smaller than the typical full priced burger. There wasn’t really any queue probably because I went there slightly after the typical lunch hours. I waited for around 5 — 10 minutes for the food but it was worth the wait as it was freshly made, you’d see the cheese still sticking to the patty, the chips were warm and the panini was of course huge too(to my surprise)! I didn’t finish the chips/panini as it was a generous serving. Definitely tasted good as well and plus points for being freshly made! I would definitely go again to try the other lunch deals before Winter is over. ;)
