Founded in 1935, today Max Nelson and daughter Jennifer Williams offer their 70-​plus years of combined experience to provide unparalleled attention and sensitivity to detail.

Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary is known for our compassionate funeral and cremation service and sensible prices.

Our services are designed to meet the needs of your family. We listen to and respect your wishes and are dedicated to preserving the dignity and sanctity of the funeral. We are pleased to serve all ethnic and religious groups.

We also offer cremations services as an option. Our caring professional staff strives to provide the best arrangements at a reasonable price.

Jennifer W.

Business Owner

Jennifer is a 1989 graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She earned her Mortuary Science degree in 1991 from Gupton-​Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA. She returned to Indianapolis in 1991 to manage A.R.N. Mortuary and in 2000, was named the firm’s president.

She volunteers for many local charities, including: Brooke’s Place, Gleaners Food Bank and Christamore House Guild. Jennifer is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Hooverwood Nursing Home and the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis. She is the proud mother of Ari and Lindsay.
