Seva – Zion

I had been going for the last couple of months. Always under staffed and they stop taking people 30– 60 minutes before closing time. One of the girls that works there is not thorough and usually is the only one working. They do a good job but customer service is bad and they don’t close the times that are posted.

Just called this place, their customer service is so terrible. The girl that answered was very rude. She answered simply with a «hello». I wasn’t even sure I was calling a business until I asked if it was the salon. I wouldn’t go there because their phone service was just awful.

I decided to have a touch up because im leaving out of town soon. Yet again Megha worked her magic and my eyebrows are flawless! Im convinced she is fantastic and i will continue to see her from now on for threading! Thank Megha!

I’m a stickler for customer service. What’s the point in paying for something if you’re not going to enjoy the experience? Well KRYSTLE did an AMAZING job on my eyebrows. Not only did she do my eyebrows exactly as I described, but she offered suggestions, colored them in with powder, and had the most gentle touch I’ve ever had with a waxing experience. For once I didn’t feel that common sting. I can’t vouch for the other staff members but KRYSTLE is someone I WILL DEFINITELY try again.

Definitely, coming back. I was afraid to try the place just cause I’ve been going to a different place in Bloomingdales, IL for a while and like how they do my threading and also created a bonding relationship over there. I forgot the name of the person that did my brow tinting and underarms she did a nice job. Hope to get her from
now on when I come back.

No stars!!! Worst place ever!
I have been getting my eye brows threaded for 18years. I have never set in a chair for 35mins today I did.
Severita did my eye brows for 35 mins and mess them up. I told her that I wanted just a clean up and no shaping because they where already shaped and that I didn’t want to go thinner. She seem to understand so she went on. When she started threading, it felt as she was plucking one by one with thread. For those of us that have had thread done, it sure doesn’t feel like that. After plucking about 10 hairs she was done. She went on with the other brow. I asked if I could see the mirror and when she saw my reaction, she said that she wasn’t done. So I told okay make sure you clean this. She went on. 15 minutes later I finally told her to stop because she wasn’t fixing anything. That I had already set there long enough. she said that I wasn’t giving her enough time that she was going to fix it. Crystal came over and I explained what she had done and how long she had taken. Crystal said it takes time and that she didn’t know how long I had already set there for but she would fix it. I said fine last time fix them! 15 minutes later nothing was fix she made it worst. I told her to stop and that I had, had enough! Crystal came over and I could see it in her face the reaction that Severita had REALLY MESSED UP. Crystal said for her to pluck the rest out with the tweezers I said to her that i had went for threading not plucking with tweezers and that if I wanted my eye brows pluck I could have done it myself. I got up very angry and I asked, so I still have to pay for your messing up she said yes $ 8. So I did now I have two messed up eyebrows that will cost me $ 12 more to go fix at my original salon.
So now I have to wait two months until all the patches grow back for my eyebrows to look shaped and not to mention everyday I will have to fill them in with makeup.

I don’t usually write reviews, but iwant to share my experience. I tried to set up 2 brazilian waxes with a girl there named Angie. She had done my aunts eyebrows before and my aunt really loved what she did. When I called to set up an appointment for us, a girl named Crystal told me that she would have to check Angies schedule and would call me back and let me know a time we could come in. She never called me back. How hard is it to check a schedule? After a day i called back and talked to a different women who told me in broken english that Angie dosent work there anymore and that they no longer offer brazilian waxes. I asked why the other girl never called me back and she told me she must have forgotten. The whole experiance just felt awkward and cold, even if was just over the phone. They could have had a repeat customer but not anymore!

Third time is a charm!
I have been checking Seva in Zion for new talent. Today I went in there was a new individual named Megha who performed threading on my brows. She did an awesome job! It was so great that I asked her what her schedule was and she didn’t know because today was her first day… WOW! She gave me her name instead and I was satisfied with that so I could call to see if she is there next time. Megha took her time even though I was her last client for the night! I could tell she took pride in her work. My wait wasn’t long either.
This is the experience customers should have and I am glad I returned even though my last experience at Seva was terrible.
Thank you Megha! You have client that will continue to return as long as you are there.
