History

Established in 2011.

What began as a request from family friends to teach their children how to play the guitar developed into a full time business in teaching, training, mentoring, and coaching students of all ages in learning to play the guitar and bass.

Meet the Business Owner

Jon K.

Business Owner

My life long passions have been for guitar, music, and business. I received my very first guitar at the age of 13 years old and have been studying, playing, and improvising ever since with over 26 years of experience. I trained under some of the finest Guitarists in the Chicagoland area: Dave Uhrich, Eric Mantel, Toshi Iseda, and Tom Hess.

I have performed as lead guitarist on worship teams for over 14 years, currently at Kenosha Bible Church. As the lead guitarist of Aural Groove, I recorded under industry pro Michael Charles of Moonlight Studios. As lead singer and guitarist of Manna (an acoustic duo) I recorded under Rex Carroll of Whitecross.

I believe in a geometric approach for developing guitarists. This approach continually alternates topics of focus and approaches each topic from multiple angles to quickly enhance the learning curve. I believe «It is very important to set the proper foundational skills in a fun and exciting way!
