Comfortable comfortable rooms with coffee maker, microwave, fridge etc. friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms pool and hot tub and workout room. Plus complimentary breakfast. Great rates.

Phone and website rates differ. Called and was quoted $ 30 higher so use caution booking here. Military rate was also higher than regular rate. Rooms are modern, clean, spacious, and nice. Breakfast was ok– have a small breakfast burrito bar, donuts, bagels, fruit, waffles from batter. Good stay overall.

This hotel chain and specifically, the Zion hotel has the worse reservation policy possible. They do not allow any changes to the reservation and refuse to allow transfers of reservations or changes of any kind. We had a pet sitter that had to cancel last minute thus we needed to take our small 15 pound dog with us. We couldn’t find a pet policy off the website for this hotel so we called headquarters. We found out the Zion hotel does not allow any pets so we asked to transfer the reservation to the Gurnee hotel that does. We were told we could not transfer. When I asked why their policy does not allow for transfers we were told that this type of reservation policy does not allow any changes is now typical at all major hotel chains. I asked the customer support person what hotels have this policy besides them but they could not answer. Well… the following hotels ALLOW both transfer and cancellation up to 24 hours prior to arrival. LaQuinta’s Marriots Comfort Inns Drury Inns Staybridge Inn and Suites Baymont Inns …and almost every other hotel in the Chicago land area. Comfort Inn customer support personnel lie to customers. I advise you use any one else but Country Inn… they are NOT flexible. By the way, our travel was for an unexpected death. Country Inn does not care about customers.
