History

Established in 2005.

The Pooch Parlor opened in Honolulu, HI on November 19, 2005. Our goal was to provide military families and low income family affordable pet services. In 2012 we relocated to Zephyrhills, Fl with the same goal in mind. We provide quality grooming for all dogs and cats regardless of size and breed at low cost to the owner. The company is a husband and wife team. Meagan Sammons is owner and groomer, her husband Lowell is co-owner and maintenance. No dog is refused based on their breed, we do not believe that there is such thing as an «agressive breed».

Meagan S.

Business Owner

Meagan Sammons is the owner and operator of The Pooch Parlor. She has 2 children which she homeschools, is Cubmaster for a local cub scout pack and is completing her Veterinary Tech courses online. Meagan is the only groomer for this company and she is also the person in charge of petsitting services. She has had animals throughout her life. Currently the family has 2 dogs, 3 cats, chickens and rabbits. She also is the director of Tuffys Animal Rescue, which provides care and homes for orphaned cats. She decided to open the grooming business in Hawaii when she could not find a groomer for her retired show Chow Chow. She wanted to provide care for all dogs at low cost where no other groomer would.
