We raise broiler chickens on pasture for meat, and we have truly free-​range, pastured laying hens for eggs. We also have turkey available on a limited basis year round, and we will be raising turkeys for the holidays again this year.

History

Established in 2012.

We started with 20 chickens, simply to have our own healthy eggs to eat. We then decided to put our small farm to work raising meat birds because we were disgusted with the quality of chicken and eggs available in stores. Having both come from a farming background, we wanted to raise animals in a humane and healthy way, knowing the healthy and natural lifestyle of the birds would be reflected in the quality of the eggs and meat produced.

Meet the Business Owner

Brian and Alyson M.

Business Owner

Brian and Alyson both hail from, and were raised on, farms in Western New York. After many years in the construction business, Brian retired to his 11-​acre farm in Zephyrhills. Alyson joined him there three years ago, bringing her background in agriculture, nutrition, and medicine, to work on their joint poultry venture. Their goals are to be good stewards of their land, to raise their flocks in a humane, natural, and sustainable manner, and to make their products affordable to their local clients.
