Lake Tahoe DJ

Ryan was awesome at our S. Lake Tahoe wedding! Our wedding guests didn’t want the evening to end, and in the days that followed, I kept hearing friends and family compliment the music. Music is very important to us, and we like a large variety of it. Ryan knew where to put what song, when to speed it up and slow it down. He ran the show like no one’s business! I highly recommend hiring Ryan, the Lake Tahoe DJ, for your next event… especially if it is a wedding. He rocked.

Ryan from Lake Tahoe DJ was perfect for our wedding. Our wedding was Oct 17, 2015. After first contacting him, he answered very promptly. We set up a phone call to go over music and to see if he would be the right fit for our wedding. He was extremely friendly, answered all my questions, then he asked us questions I would have never thought of. He sent us a packet that went over our time line, speeches, wedding party, and all the areas we would need to pick songs for. Each area had a description plus recommended songs. There were some things like the wedding recessional, and before ceremony music I would never have thought of. He also sent us over 1,000 songs on different lists. Top 200 songs in 2014, Top 200 country songs, Top 200 Wedding songs etc. The lists he created were extremely helpful and we were able to go through and highlight what songs we wanted. I did not feel forced once to have to use any of his suggestions unlike other DJs that we have worked with who think they know best. The questionnaire he has you fill out covers everything, and my venue stated they contacted him and he was very easy to work with. I had a few last minute changes. A few days before they wedding my father daughter dance song changed, and the morning of the wedding, my recessional song changed. I emailed him, but was unsure if he would get it in time, or if he would have a chance t change the music since it was day of! He had it all changed, figured out, and perfect. We had a slight venue change due to a very stormy day, and he rolled with the punches. He arrived early, and set up, and after setting up he went and checked in with all my bridesmaids and groomsmen to make sure that if they needed something specific music wise he was the go to guy. We picked songs for dancing but also asked him to feel out the crowd. He did perfect!!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night. He played a variety of music and not just the typical wedding music. He took requests from the crowd, and most the music flowed perfectly. I even canceled my garter and bouquet toss because the music flow was going so great I didn’t want anyone to have to leave the dance floor. He had a list of «Do not play» songs, and we listed a few usual cliché wedding songs, and even when guests requested them because they knew we hated the song, he still NEVER played them. I honestly have nothing awful to say, or any bad experience throughout the entire night. He read our crowd more perfectly that I could have ever wanted. I explained there were some family members who had issues with certain music styles. He respected that until those guests had left for the evening, then switched to some songs that we could party all night to, and did it very respectively so the other family members never had a clue. I highly recommend Ryan. Easy to work with, keeps the crowd going, can really read his audience, and even with a slight power outage due to the storm, he made jokes saying not to worry he could carry a tune and we would have music! Thank you Ryan for being part of the best day of our lives. Sounds very cliché, but having a good group of vendors can really make or break a party, Ryan was everything we asked for and more. Hopefully we have another large event to get to use him again soon! You can’t go wrong with Ryan.

Ryan from Lake Tahoe DJ is awesome. He was able to incorporate all the songs we wanted to hear, and then use his expertise to fill in the rest and keep the dance floor crowded. Even more importantly, he was super fast to respond to email during the planning process, was always incredibly helpful, and during the actual wedding he was incredibly professional and fun the whole night. Trusting someone to keep the party going at your wedding is a big leap of faith, and I couldn’t recommend Ryan more highly!

Ryan Palmer with Lake Tahoe DJ was seriously the best DJ ever. He was the DJ for our wedding at Valhalla and I would highly recommend him for any event. He was highly responsive during the planning stages, played all of our favorite music, and kept everyone going on the dance floor until the very end. He even played a polka song that my new father-​in-​law requested! We had him do the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour too, which I would recommend everyone doing a wedding because it takes the stress out of it. Ryan was awesome!!!

Dylan came out for my wedding in Tahoe and did a great job prior to the wedding collecting info to help the day run and smooth as possible. He played our songs and was easy to work with. The best part was that he played to the crowd really well, the dance floor was hoppin’ the whole time it was open. I received compliments from the venue, guests and bridal party. Great job guys.

We were so beyond impressed with our wedding DJ, Ryan Palmer! Planning a destination wedding can be stressful at times, especially when you live across the country, but Ryan made the whole process stress-​free and fun. Couldn’t be happier! Leading up to our wedding day, he was secretly working with my maid and matron of honor to surprise us with a musical toast that blew us away. It was fantastic, and they said it wouldn’t have happened without Ryan’s flexibility and cooperation. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long with his great selection of music and his awesome personality on the mic. We highly recommend Ryan Palmer to anyone looking for an organized, dependable and talented DJ in the Lake Tahoe area!

Ryan was a fantastic DJ for our daughter’s wedding, she chose a specific song for each part of the ceremony and first dance and he timed them perfectly. He kept all age groups dancing up until the very last song, the music was great! He was a perfect host for the evening.

I need more stars! Dylan was our wedding DJ last weekend and he was AMAZING! He played all of our requests, was incredibly polite and professional, and created the mood that we really wanted during the ceremony (touching), dinner (pleasant), and reception (super fun!) Our guests have said over and over how much they appreciated his friendly and fun personality during the entire event. He also accommodated some last min changes (adding a microphone, wiring issues at our venue, etc.) without any hesitation. He also was great about communication ahead of time. Dylan and Ryan were a little more costly than other DJs in the area, but absolutely worth every penny! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone and everyone!

Ryan was the DJ/​MC for our wedding in Incline Village in May of 2015. In the weeks/​months leading up to the big day, Ryan was exceptionally easy to work with, and was extremely responsive to all of our requests — even at the last minute. He liaised directly with our coordinator at the reception venue (Château), thus taking us out of the equation when appropriate and making the entire experience stress free. He solicited plenty of input prior to the big day while building his playlist/​library, and was able to take our suggestions and extrapolate those into a tremendous evening of fun and high-​energy music. As an MC, he kept the party moving right along, and was on-​point the entire evening. His equipment was top-​notch, including the sound system, light bars, and up-​lights for the ambiance of the room. When it came to requests, he had the presence of mind to know where to fit a particular song into the mix, and used solid judgement when determining whether to honor a request or not (especially from the intoxicated guests… ha). Ryan not only added to, but was a key component of a wonderful weekend in Incline Village. Kudos, Ryan.

Ryan Palmer, Lake Tahoe DJ is the best! We had a wedding ceremony last weekend at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe and Ryan was the MC and DJ. We had a group with age ranging from 4 to 82. They were all very comfortable with the music that Ryan played and had a wonderful time. Thank you Ryan for making the evening special for our baby girl!

Ryan was our DJ at Squaw Valley up at High Camp. He was exceptional! He helped organize the entire ceremony and reception and was always so responsive whenever I needed something. He was so professional but cool as well. We had a lot of teenagers and he really knew how to adapt to their music style. When we first spoke I thought it would be the older folks dancing so recommend their style of music. Instead the older folks went home earlier and the teens were out there all night long (with me). He knew exactly how to keep the party going. It was such a fabulous night. I’d definitely recommend Ryan Palmer for a perfect wedding.

Dylan was our DJ recently for our wedding at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort. He did a wonderful job! We couldn’t have been happier with how the ceremony and reception turned out. He took requests from guests and made sure to play our must-​play list. He managed the reception really well and we would definitely recommend Dylan and Lake Tahoe DJ for events and weddings!

Ryan was a fantastic DJ for our wedding at Heavenly. He was responsive to all of my emails and calls and accommodated all of our requests. Several of our wedding guests commented on how well he MCed our night and his great music choices. He kept the crowd dancing from start to finish. I definitely recommend Ryan for any Tahoe bride and groom!

Lake Tahoe DJ was great. He not only was willing to meet with us several times before the event, be he was willing to drive out of his way to our venue so that we could have face to face interactions. As far as the day of the event, he was a real pleasure. He worked with out wedding coordinators on the timeline, was flexible with our playlists during the dancing, and dealt wth some challenging logistics. We actually had several guests come up to us and ask for the playlists that he helped put together, and another say that he was a true professional. Couldn’t be happer with his services and would gladly recommend him to any of my friends or family.

This DJ is on my do not hire list! He not only lied to the Bride but he told me he had an hour to drive, I drive an hour to work myself and still wanted the reception to go on. He was later seen at the Biltmore gambling, why did he not stay and do his job! I would not refer anyone to him! A really bad example for a DJ, he gives all DJ’s a bad name!
Sorry can’t even give him one star! Have to give a star or can’t post! Promise he is not worth one star!
