Terrible customer service! The staff at the counter are very rude. They tell you, you can’t sign up for a jetski. It’s first come first serve. So you can stand there and wait. So we did and people that came after us were given a jetski. Would never go back.

Horrible. First they tell us in 20 minutes we can go, we come back 20 minutes later and they say we have to wait 20 – 30 more minutes, a little mad but whatever we decided to wait. We come back 25 minutes later (making it a 45 minute wait now) and it’s still being used for another 30 minutes, luckily the lady and her kids where tired so we got to use it after 50 minutes of waiting. 10 minutes into it out boat sinks, we had to swim back while pulling the boat with us, they saw that it sank and those teenagers just sat from the shore watching us, when we finally get to the shore we ask for our money back and the old grumpy dude says no, he says «what do you guys want me to do about it» they claim they were sending someone to help us but we saw no one coming and we swam all the way back with it. Finally the old dude tells some 13 year old douche bag teenager to give us our money back, the teenager was being an asshole to us and telling us all this crap that we didn’t have to be assholes, we calmly explained why we where upset, he was cussing at us and telling us to «get out of here».
Horrible experience, horrible staff, horrible equipment, go spend your money somewhere else.

Do not go to this place for Parasailing. These are what looks like a bunch of high school dropouts that are not experienced in the proper procedures and precautions needed for this sport.
They were in lot of hurry to send us up and did not explain things clearly. They put me and my 10year old son in the harness and attached to parachute so he was right in front of me. Before sending up up in the air though, the crew did not check if my son was seated properly on the harness seat or not. So when we were up in the air, he started to slip from the harness and in couple of minutes, he was completely off it. He was very scared: I was also scared for him. Luckily, I was right behind him, so I held his arms to support him, and signaled the crew to bring us down. When down, the crew was very carefree and casual about it. The captain’s explanation was that it must be my son’s fault that he had been leaning too much and that’s why he slipped out of the seat! Amazingly stupid explanation! If there was any chance of that happening, they should have briefed us before and told us how to stay up there. They should have checked the harness and how he was sitting in there, before they sent us off flying! On the boat, the other guy was constantly checking his smart phone rather than keeping an eye on the parasail. I am just glad no accident happened there.
These people are unethical as well. The girl at the gate wanted to charge us $ 8 for parking even though it is supposed to be $ 5 when you are using the rental equipment there. When I mentioned that, she then took the $ 5 without showing any kind of guilt or anything.

Cheapest rate we could find for jet-​skiing in South tahoe + beautiful beach, but hard to find and disorganized parking system.
After scavenging for coupons and comparing rates after coupons, we came up with: Ski Run Boat company (~$ 105), Action Sports ($ 90), and H20 Sports ($ 85), which meant that Labor Day at ~12pm, we headed to Round Hill Pines Beach to jet ski with H20 Sports (if you’re going to spend so much money on an hour jet skiing, might as well save that extra $ 5!)
There is a TINYYY sign to the beach, so you need to keep your eyes peeled to find it. As we drove along the tiny path down the hill, we saw a girl and a small table, but confused, we drove a little past, before we stopped and trekked back up the hill to ask her why she kept staring at us as we headed down the hill. Apparently, she was the gatekeeper, to sell us $ 8 parking tickets. Pretty ghetto. Plus, she is cash only, so she advises us to go down the hill, and buy a ticket at the snack bar.
When we get down the hill and ask the snack bar people, they become pretty confused as well. After a short collaboration, they charge us $ 8 and say «OK.» That was all. So now we’re confused *again*, and we ask them whether they should be giving us a parking voucher. They don’t have parking vouchers. Instead, we receive a post-​it note that says that we paid $ 8 for parking. Very unprofessional, but no parking ticket, so it was only a minor inconvenience.
After getting to the beach, it was very straightforward to get our Seadoo and get on the water! With everyone rushing to beat traffic and get back after Labor Day Weekend, the lake was almost empty as far as we could see, which was, to say the least, pretty awesome.
Conclusion: bad parking experience but fantastic and easy jet ski rental. If we jet ski again in South Tahoe, will definitely be back!

Some friends of mine and I spent the day at the cove where they rented jetskis for the last hour of the day. Everything was great that day, until the following experience renting jetskis from H20 Sports:
The employees are very young, and very unprofessional. They do not follow proper standards or procedures for renting out vehicles (when their boss is not looking). At the time my friends rented their jetskis, their boss was apparently missing from the location, so they were exhibiting obvious signs of boredom, complete lack of respect of procedure, and customer service. They were on their cell phones, ignoring or curtly answering questions and requests, hanging up on customer phone calls, etc. I can’t really blame them, they did look really young. I can however, blame their boss, who would leave them in charge of thousands of dollars worth of motorized vehicles without any over-​sight.
During our visit, they did not do a walk around before renting jetskis. There were about 10 people in our group who were present (all of us are 25 or older), trying to enjoy a vacation, so 3 total jetskis were rented for the last hour of the day. Most of us were just hanging out on the beach either watching our friends out on the water, or just lounging. None of us saw a walk around before the jetskis were rented, and none of us saw any dangerous collisions of any kind while our friends were on the water. As a matter of fact, none of the 3 jetskis came within 30 yards of eachother except when leaving or returning to the launch. When the owner returned to the business and noticed that there was damage on one of the jetskis, the employees lied, claiming that they did a walk-​around, and that the damage must be was new, blaming my friends. As a result, thousands of dollars were immediately charged to the credit card on hold, and the police needed to be called to handle the dispute. In the end, the boss charged thousands of dollars to the credit card on file even without any proof that my friends did any wrong other than the word of these employees. I have reviewed other people’s reviews of this place, and there seems to be a theme of dissatisfaction with the empoyees here. I guess the boss is getting what he paid for. Unfortunately for us, we got a LOT less than what we paid for.
It was so obvious that the lazy, bored, and unprofessional employees had discontinued following procedure at some point during the day that there was no way to figure out which renter had actually caused the damage to the jetski. I don’t think any of the employees noticed it. I think that the boss returned to the site, noticed it, and asked the employees what happend. Afraid for their jobs, it seemed most convenient to blame the current renters since they had stopped following procedure at some point, and really had no clue what happend.
So if you are considering renting from this place. Please reconsider. Or, bring your digital camera, take pictures of the equipment before you rent it, so that you can prove your case when the employees blame you for damage you had no hand in doing.
Really a huge bummer on what was such a great vacation.

My boyfriend and I went parasailing here this past Saturday. Everywhere else we looked, it seemed like parasailing was really expensive, like over $ 100. We found this place using Unilocal and our map provided by the front desk of our hotel and we called up to check availability and I had some questions. I called probably around 9 am and the girl on the phone said that the first availability for the day would be at 4:00pm, said you are in the air for about 20 mins and that to make a reservation they just need our name a card to pay for the reservation, but that they don’t take reservations over the phone and I would need to come in person.
We went after breakfast to check it out and make a reservation. We let the girl at the gate know we were just checking on a reservation, so she let us pull off to the side and walk up to the hut so that we wouldn’t have to pay for parking just yet. The girl at the hut said that 4:00 was still the first open reservation, so we took it. She just took our name and our phone number and told us to check in at 3:30, guess they didn’t need our card. but that’s better for us.
We got there early, around 3:15 and the beach/​marina was much more crowded than in the morning! Parking was $ 8, we let the girl know that we were there for a parasailing reservation and she charged us $ 5. We checked in at the hut and when the girls were getting us started, they kept talking about other guests that had been asking them stupid questions earlier in the day. which I thought was a little unprofessional. Whatever, they’re all teenagers.
The guys working on the boat were alright. The one driving didn’t talk to us at all, but the one getting us set up for the actual parasailing was cool. Written on the boat it says «crew works for tips» with 20s lined up. we didn’t know about tipping and ended up giving them $ 10, cause it’s all the cash we had. The time in the air was nowhere near 20 mins per person, but it was still a nice experience. very calm (surprising) and beautiful views.
By the way, it was only $ 80 for the both of us. we had a $ 15 off coupon from the hotel map, so it came to $ 80 for both, which was awesome. All in all, a good experience. glad we tried it, we did 600 ft rope, wish now that we did the 1200 ft one.

Did parasailing and jet ski today. 10 out of 10. Extremely fun. The crew were super helpful as well.

Best rates around Lake Tahoe. (you can probably find some coupons if you are living in certain hotels)
The parking lot allows re-​entry.
Make reservation beforehand if you want to do parasailing.
The front gate is at the west side of highway 50, with a giant iron gate. You won’t miss it.

For 125 bucks I got a para-​sail ride and an hour on the ski-​doo. It was so much fun for a first timer, but no frills either.
Pros: Great rates, nice little location, good for beginners
Cons: Pay for parking, basic equipment, and summer staffers (nice, but not terribly great customer service)

The staff at the counter were very rude and misleading. When I signed up, they said I could take my wife and kid along with me on the Sea-​Do. But when I got to the Sea-​Do, they backtracked and said I can only take my kid… my 11 month old and me on a high speed Sea-Do…will I hold on to him or the Sea-​Do? The guy manning the Sea-​Do was lazy and arrogant and very unhelpful.
The para-​sailing crew was a different story altogether. They were professional and courteous and the experience was great. If not for the para-​sailing, I would have given them 0 stars. Almost all beaches offer Jet-​ski and para-​sailing at comparable rates, you are better off going elsewhere.

Best rates for jet skiing, beautiful location, very helpful and friendly staff. There is a charge for parking but mention you are there for the rentals and they will charge you half price. Also found a $ 2 off parking coupon in our hotel lobby and wound up paying only $ 3 for parking. It’s a cute family style beach. Wish we would have gotten there earlier to enjoy just hanging out. There is a little café and bar there too. Will definitely return here!

Hang a sharp left into Round Hill Pines Beach when heading out of Stateline on the 50, and you’ll find a small hut that will provide all you need for your amazing summer Tahoe getaway.
Although we didn’t shop around too much, this place had the cheapest rates for parasailing and sea-​dooing that we could find. Check out their website for instant discounts, and you’re looking at ~85 for an hour of sea-​dooing and ~110 for tandem parasailing with a 1200′ cable. Both experiences are highly recommended.
Parasailing first… while the views were breathtaking, you only spend about 10 minutes in the air. But put this on your list of things to do before you kick the bucket and hope for a gorgeous Tahoe day. You see EVERYTHING in Lake Tahoe, with nothing but blue water, blue skies, and blue mountains all around you while the wind blows through your hair. The crew wasn’t terribly friendly or chatty, but that’s a minor grievance considering everything.
Sea-​dooing is another story all together. The hour is worth every single penny. Gun that throttle, and you’re easily pushing your doo-​doo at 7000 rpm, flying off waves, and seeing rainbows as you toss that gorgeous blue water every which way. Don’t be afraid to go too fast… you won’t regret it.
Other useful tidbits of information:
— Parking isn’t free, but tell them you want to park in the upper lot and you’ll save a few bucks. You’ll just have to walk a few more minutes.
— The staff will hold onto your items for you (but take no legal responsibility for your belongings)
— Make reservations the day before for parasailing
— Bring a waterproof camera =)
