Dr. Bocchi and Dr. Lusby welcome you to Sierra Smiles Tahoe. Our spa-​like atmosphere and warm, inviting team members will make you feel comfortable, confident and cared for. We offer patients complimentary paraffin hand waxes, warm towels, herbal neck wraps, and personal TVs with wireless headphones with relaxing music.

Digital X-​Rays — which contain 80−90% less radiation than traditional X-​Rays.

Tooth-​Colored Fillings.

Intra-​Oral Photography — which allows our patients to view enlarged images of their teeth, gums, crowns, fillings, problem areas as well as before and after photos.

CEREC Dentistry — This state of the art machine enables us to prepare, make and deliver a crown or veneer in just one visit.

Zoom! Whitening — which whitens teeth 7 – 9 shades in one office visit.

Invisalign — which straightens teeth with the use of a series of «clear» aligners.

CO2 Laser — We offer laser dentistry treatments for restorative and periodontal treatments.

VEL Scope — Newly FDA approved scanner which painlessly detects abnormal cells and oral cancer.

History

Established in 2014.

Sierra Smiles and Dr. John Bocchi have expanded to Lake Tahoe bringing 10 years of experience in Reno. The practice was purchase in 2014 from Dr. Richard Lusby, who continues to work at the practice 2 days per week.

Dr. Bocchi has twice been voted best dentist in Northern Nevada in the Reno News and Review annual vote by his community. He was also featured in Reno Magazine as a top cosmetic dentist and recognized as one of the top 20 professionals under 40 in Northern Nevada by the Reno Gazette Journal.

Dr. Bocchi just finished his Presidency for the Nevada Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of:

He and his wife Jen are proud parents to Keira and Kipton. Dr. Bocchi enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, photography, fishing, hiking, biking, and relaxing in Reno and Lake Tahoe.
