Quality Inn & Suites

Steve at the front really helped us out and got us a great room at a great price. He went out of his way to make sure we were able to get parking for our moving truck and got us a room close to the side so we could pack/​unpack quickly. Cant ask for much more.

Walked in and walked out. Bug in my room, blood on the wall. Be careful…
My wife and I had to travel to Yuma for business. It’s our first time here and have no idea where to stay. We looked at a couple of other places on line and chose Comfort Inn because it seemed to be the in a decent neighborhood off of a busy street. As we’re checking in a guy who appeared to be on drugs walked in with no real business. The guy at the front desk had to follow him down the hall to see what he wanted. Still not discouraged to leave because Jose, the guy at the front desk, was so nice to my wife. He seemed very sincere and wiling to help us. So we check in and we are excusing a lot of the mess and disorganization in the lobby because it is obvious there is remodeling going on. So we check in and walk to the elevator that is very old and dingy. No big deal. We get into our room and everything starts to go down hill from there. That’s when we saw the smashed bug on the wall and what appears to be blood. Now my wife is freaking out. I have to use the bathroom which I know they cleaned because I had to step over a pile of ajax that was on the floor. So I don’t even bother to unpack and just wait until my wife is done freaking out before telling her I’ll take our luggage back downstairs and check out. My wife called Jose back as soon as we left to apologize for leaving and thank him for being so nice. This is when I realized we had made the right choice; he told us he was embarrassed because he has people leave all the time for the same reason! He also told us he was the only one on site. Literally, not a maintenance person, security guard, no one!!! Needless to say, you’ll find no comfort at this Comfort Inn.

I must say that the rooms are very nice, but I was extremely disappointed with the service. This place would have had 5 stars. After a long day of commuting to Yuma, my husband and I decided to drop off some things before going to our family member’s house. We settled in for a bit, dropped off our bags and emptied our pockets. For my husband, this meant placing an empty pack of cigarettes on the counter. We left the room and came back that night. The next day we left in the early morning planning to return in a few hours.
Low and behold! When we returned we found a hand written note from the management stating that they were planning to charge us $ 250 for smoking in the room. Keep in mind there are without exaggeration, at least 5 no smoking signs around the room. Not only was his pack empty, but this action was entirely unprofessional and made us feel like we were being bad guests. I most definitely felt offended by this. Combined with the awful WiFi that wouldn’t work at all, I wouldn’t stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Even though it is an older hotel it appears to be well maintained. Our room with hot tub was spacious enough. It had a microwave and fridge with a separate sink from the bathroom for dishes. Wireless Internet very fast even though we didn’t have the strongest signal to our room.
We would stay here again given the opportunity.

Check in is at 3 but they let us check in at 1. Thank goodness it was 115 degrees that day I couldnt wait to get my room. The ice machine on out floor didn’t work and the evelevator seemed to take a life time move. Other then that it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice location, but my only complain is that at 4am the pipes in the bathroom start doing an very loud noise that keep me awake for 30min… not good when you got a long day of work ahead of you.
