Kingdom Construction laid a nice concrete patio for me for a couple grand and verbally guaranteed a two-​year comprehensive warranty.
After a year and a half, several large chips emerged in between the slabs. I called them up to ask for it to be repaired under the warranty and got the cold shoulder for about four months. That is, 1.) I’d talk with them and was told that I’d get a call back or never did; or 2.) I’d leave a message and never get a call back.
Evidently, they under-​estimated me. I finally got a hold of the manager and mentioned the potentiality of litigation. Incredibly, he had his assistant contact me within minutes and the re-​assessment was done the next day and the repairs were made in a few days.
It’s a shame that I had to go through so many hoops to get the repairs that I was initially promised. Otherwise, I may have given a better ratings. Still, somehow, I am content enough to give three stars.
