Holiday Inn Express & Suites Yuma

We usually stay at La Quintas because we have a dog and they are allowed at all of their motels. We came to Yuma just before Christmas, for a little over night trip from our home in Mesa. No La Quintas here so we checked Holiday inn express to see if they take dogs. They do, and we absolutly love this place. Not only because they welcomed our dog, but the hotel is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The staff is always great. This is our third trip to Yuma since December and will always stay here. We love it!

Very clean rooms. Excellent service. Breakfast was delicious. Swimming pool area was delightful. An incredible value for your money.

Always clean, very accommodating and friendly staff. Easy access to highway, downtown Yuma, shopping and local restaurants.

I have stayed in several HIE and think this is about as good as they can make it. The room was upgraded so we had more room than planned with a good AC, a comfortable bed, clean room and a TV with a nice variety of channel choices.
The breakfast area is much more roomy than other HIE and with the large outside window made the place feel inviting.
This place gets five stars vs. four as the wi-​fi actually worked in the room.

I stayed here about a month ago while in Yuma for work, and I was very impressed. Lots of nice Southwestern touches in the room, with very beautiful dramatic desert views. The room itself was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. They also did a great job keeping the breakfast service well-​stocked. The location is a little tough to find the first time (I missed it and had to circle back), but once I figured it out I realized it’s a great spot. Close to the airport, close to the old downtown (so many great restaurants and bars!), generally easy to get around and felt very safe the whole time. I would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely plan to stay here again if I come to Yuma again!

Very clean rooms and nice breakfast in the Morning. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. I only gave it three stars because the work out area doesn’t have any Dumbbells like most other hotel gyms. It only has cardio equipment and an exercise ball.

This hotel really had all that I expected. I was there for the 1^st of September which is the start of dove season. The hotel was very welcoming to us. They made a washing station outside for the dove.
The hotel was clean, they had a complimentary hot breakfast bar where you serve yourself. They even opened it early to accommodate us.
The pool is fairly standard, not particularly large, but a nice refreshment in Sep since it is 108 degrees F. They do have a shower outside which is nice to rinse off before and after going in the pool

I drove cross country this summer from the East Coast. This hotel is my favourite out of all of the ones I stayed at. I was extremely tired when I checked in, and the girl at the desk gave me a great room. It was well maintained and very quiet. I love the location of the hotel. Easy access to the fwy, shopping, restaurants and gas. Yet its so quiet. They have a very nice and big breakfast each AM. Wonderful staff especially the girl that checked me in. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again, if I ever pass thru Yuma again in this lifetime.

We used to work in an Rv Park in Yuma. We now live in Tucson and recently spent a few nights in Yuma at this wonderful hotel. I have nothing but compliments all around for this place. Well designed, very well maintained and great staff all around. I must say that the beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a room in Yuma, We look forward to staying here again.

This hotel is amazing, friendly staff, good breakfast, amazing scenery, close to stores, and resturants. (5 minutes) the rooms are confortable, excersise and pool. I always come here for the great service I recieve.

The Holiday Inn Express in Yuma is the best! Great front desk staff, wonderful service and clean rooms & breakfast area. Very easy to get to off of frontage road, with lots of parking. Giovanna the mgr is great to work with when booking rooms for meetings and business events!

Amazingly comfortable, clean, friendly … we love it here! We ALWAYS stay at this H.I.Express when we are in Yuma

Last stop before hitting San Diego during my recent relocation from Houston. Pet friendly and definitely more upscale than LaQuinta and very comfortable. Almost wish I could have spent more time there as the pool area looked nice. I did take advantage of the outdated gym and better breakfast offered.

On and off I have stayed at this hotel for the past two years. Never a problem. Period.
The only negative thing I can cite is that when staying for an extended period of time it would be nice if the hotel could provide somewhere a microwave oven. There isn’t one in the common area, nor the rooms.
On the other had the business center is well equipped. On my last trip I was able to access a document off of the internet and produce a few copies for my meeting. This saved a trip to Fed-​X.

«You always know what your going to get at Holiday Inn». I’ve heard that several times from other travelers. Let me just say that this location exceeds most Holidays Inns & HI Express. The staff had always been awesome, the rooms and grounds are always well kept. Great job HIE Yuma staff

We stopped here on our trip from Chicago to San Diego. We couldn’t be happier with the hotel. I give them 5 stars, but I am disappointed by the high fee for pets. I had to pay $ 30 for our two little dogs, but other than that, the hotel was perfect. The front desk was helpful. They gave me a can of shaving cream after I forgot my shaving cream at home.
The breakfast was amazing. They have a machine that makes pancakes on the fly. They have the crazy good cinnamon rolls like all Holiday Inn Expresses, and they have all the other hot breakfast items (eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc.). The lady who was working in the breakfast area on the morning of June 18 was super friendly and really made us feel at home. We thanked her when we were there, but I really hope her managers appreciate how good of a worker she is.
The pool was very nice, but we didn’t get around to using it.

This place is off the beaten path. First off, you can’t beat the price for what you are getting. The staff is great and the place is clean. Bonus: breakfast is a combination of hot and cold items and has a big variety for a hotel breakfast. this is where my family stays every trip to Yuma.

Very clean hotel & nice rooms! Continental breakfast was better than most but not awesome. If you’ve got to stay in Yuma this is the place to be

Surprisingly nice hotel (and within per diem). =)
Big and semi-​plushy beds with two types of pillows (firm, soft).
Small gym (cardio equipment only) with TV and water cooler… closes at 10PM which is nice because I can get in at least an hour of workout.
Well sized swimming pool
Free wi-​fi & business center usage
Very close to freeway
Friendly staff
I think the biggest positive about this place is the free hot & cold breakfast (waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, hot links, grits, cereal, juices, milk, hard boiled eggs, biscuits, fruits, jams etc) .
Technically, they don’t serve b-​fast until 6AM, but since a good number of us had to leave around 5, they prepared the breakfast bar well in advance! Major kudos!

Lot of good features for this hotel. Convenient, easy to find location facing the highway — just take the little frontage road by the Arby’s at exit 3E. The access to the highway is incredibly easy and you can avoid all of the construction & traffic that exists on the main drag of hotels at exit #2.
New construction, open & clean parking lot with plenty of lighting. Hotel interior, including the rooms, are all relatively new with décor — bathrooms, flat panel TV’s, furniture, etc. Rooms are reasonably quiet. Breakfast buffet was nicely stocked with biscuits ‘n gravy, sausage, cheese omelets, and the usual assort ment of breads, fruits, cereals, juices, and coffee.
Prices are a bargain for how nice this is, considering that it really is a bargain motel. Only substantial negative is that the air conditioning is not central-​air for each room. Instead it has the old-​fashioned units that face outside, located under the window. They can be loud, so it would be wise to pre-​chill your room while finding dinner so that you can leave it off while sleeping.
