Overpriced, comparatively mundane hibachi entertainment with one terrible«chef.» Our party of over 20 people took up two tables, and the hibachi chef serving my table actually had the audacity to drop an F bomb casually asking if I was«F’ing stupid» in response to me jokingly asking about MSG in the buttery paste they use while cooking. Our party witnessing this was slightly shocked, but played it off as we were not going to walk out in the midst of an office function. We didn’t even finish eating yet, and didn’t want to spoil the remainder of the outing The food is merely average in taste, and nothing to write home about one way or another. Furthermore, they have signs posted prohibiting firearms in their establishment. I don’t think I’ll be supporting this restaurant ever again with my patronage as they don’t support the 2nd amendment, and ultimately have demonstrated the worst service I have yet to observe by any staff of any category of business. It’s only their location in the heart of Yuma’s shopping plaza besides the theater that even keeps them in business. Yuma would be served better if this place went out of business and was replaced by a Vietnamese Phở restaurant or anything really.

Great food and great prices … The negative they give you a limited portion of rice compared to how much food they give

I was very happy with ah so. Everyone was very nice. We sat at the bar. No adult beverages this time. Place was very clean. I had the chicken bowl, with a California roll and of course some salmon. Everything treasured very good. My buddy got a bowl, some curry plate, forgot the name, and the eel roll. He really liked his too Of course the parking is always an issue. They don’t have an all you can eat sushi, that would be great if they did. And they don’t have happy hour, like the other ones do, that would be great too. But we still had a great dinner. Just know you will have to open up your wallet here.

Sushi was good, service was good. I had a chicken bowl with veggies. It was good tasting but the chicken was dry. I’ll try something different next time.

We went here for the first time & it was NASTY! We ordered the sushimi ceviche & it was poco de gallo with hardly any fish. Then we were served fish soup that tasted like dirty sink water where the fish was rinsed. Overall the food was GROSS!!! Tables were dirty & it was awful… Prices are outrageous for the nasty food they serve…

Ah-so is… so-so. Sushi was good but Pomegranate Martini was way too sweet. Beef over cooked in yaki soba. Service was extremely slow and unresponsive to needs. Would nor recommend especially after receiving the bill.

We normally LOVE this place but tonight we ordered to go and I was so disappointed! We got the teriyaki seafood which was shrimp and scallops with rice and veggies. For 17.95 we got 2 scallops cut in half and 4 shrimp. 5 star for eat in and 2 star for take out.

5STARFORYUMA This place is a regular for me. I would give it a 5 star but it’s not actual 5 star and I don’t want to destroy the rating system or confuse people driving through. It’s 5 star for yuma; I’ve had top notch sushi and this isn’t exactly comparable. It is a great meal though. What you will get from this place is friendly personable sushi chefs and a restaurant manager who walks around managing her waitresses.(I hatteeee bad service. Sometimes I’d rather just ditch the server and order directly from the kitchen and pour my own drinks.) I almost got bad service here once and then the manager walking around noticed my drink was getting empty and she called for my server. She was on top of it!!! I don’t know her name or what her position is but she is the reason why this place thrives.

Excellent ambiance and food although the service can be a little slow. I ordered the chicken teriyaki which was delicious and just the right amount. Highly recommend this restaurant.

No stars is better. Over priced, not that great place. I tried to purchase gift card from them over the phone(I’m disabled so it’s not possible for me to visit in person) they were most uncooperative! The girl actually told me they couldn’t run my credit card unless I signed it! I found several other places only too happy to accommodate my needs. This is a place I will avoid!

Visiting Yuma, looked forward to a good hibachi meal. Arriving at Ah-So, we waited for 10 minutes before being told that there were no tables ready(although we could clearly see many open tables around the hibachi grills. We were asked to wait for 15 minutes more at the bar. We sat at the bar and placed our drink order. The drinks came and we sat for about 20 minutes when the hostess finally told us we could sit down, Ah-So had no way of transferring our bar tab to our table. So we had to pay for our drinks and then we sat down. After our orders were taken we waited for another 15 minutes before the guy came to grill our food. Normally the person that grills the food is funny and does a few tricks. Not here, the guy seemed grumpy, the grill’s ventilation didn’t work properly, the food was bland, much below average. From the hostess to the bartender to the guy on the grill, everyone was rude and grumpy. Bad place, stay away!

I loved this place! It’s Yuma’s version of a Benihana’s! I think lunch is a really good deal! Dinner isn’t a bad deal either but it’s just more expensive! Everything I’ve had here is really good! I really like the Yakisoba! They have teppanyaki here which is AWESOME! Dinner and a show! I heard they get their fish delivered at the beginning of the month, so if you end up going towards the end of the month, your sushi might not taste or be as fresh. You can sign up for this loyalty/members club and it’s actually a really good deal! I think it’s $ 10 and you get a $ 20 giftcard to come back and a keychain. Everytime you show the keychain when you dine there you get free dessert! Not a bad deal!

Absolutely love this place. The food the service the atmosphere are awesome. Every time we eat here the chef just amazes us with their talent. The food is cooked to perfection, just the way you order it. If your looking for a great night out with friends or family then this is your place.

Was in town for the weekend. Friday and Saturday night was super busy so I went in on Sunday night and the place was about 30% of capacity. The sushi bar was full so I asked for a table for one. The hostess told me there would be a wait for a table. I asked why there would be a wait when there were so many empty tables. She flippantly replied, the waitresses were too busy. She didn’t bother to offer an expected wait time or anything. Too bad the owner chose someone like her to be the face of their business, I won’t be back.

Very disappointing. Service was good, food mediocre. Higher prices are ok but shouldn’t cut back on quality of food. The Teppanyaki grill is always fun though Hopefully it will be better next time as their aren’t many restaurants like this in Yuma.

Great sashimi! Best I’ve had in Yuma. Beware of other sushi places in town. They love to deep fry everything and put mayo sauce to cover awful fish. The escolar and salmon are outstanding for being in the middle of the desert. If your in a small group and James is bartending, sit at the bar. He is very service oriented and will make you feel welcome. It is my goto sushi place traveling from Scottsdale to San Diego.

2.5 stars. Typical sushi/hibachi joint. Stashed in a mall shopping center, right by a typical movie theater. I suppose I shouldn’t expect much for Yuma. Service was ok. Not the best place to get sushi in Yuma.
