Hideaway Pizza

We were planning a birthday dinner for my son and called and asked them about reserving a room for 15 people. No problem they set us up for 7 pm and asked us to get there a little early so they can get everything set up.
They don’t take reservations??? Even though they had our name written down on the counter and we could see it… My husband was upset and called me and the first person REFUSED to even speak to me about it then finally someone came on the phone and tried to explain they don’t take reservation (even thought they did) Offered NO apology did NOTHING to try and ease the situation just stated we will get you in about an hour and a half from now.
What kind of costumer service is this??? I have never worked in the restaurant biz but a hearty apology and I will get you guys in as fast as I can and buy you a desert or SOMETHING!!! He gladly let us leave and could of cared less. TERRIBLE Manager the girls at the front were no better.
If you must go to Hideaway go to the city or downtown NOT HERE!

A week ahead of time we made a reservation for 7pm for a large group. We arrived at 6:45. They had our reservation written down at the podium. But we were told that was just a «heads up» not a reservation. They said they don’t do reservations despite the fact that they took our reservation and even wrote it down and taped it to their podium. They said it would be an hour and a half wait. We left.

Excellent again. Loved the pizza and the service. The wait wasn’t bad. We will come back.

Really, really good. Fried mushrooms, and the pizza was good. Server was really funny.

Spent way to much for the food we received and one of our kids meals was forgotten. Will not go back.

For what they charge ($ 20 – 25 dollars for a lg. specialty pizza) it should be exceptional pizza and not compared to a local chain pizza place ex;Papa Johns, Dominos. We used frequent the Expressway hideaway location before the Yukon location arrived because it always consistent as far as taste, good amount of toppings, good crust not thin and soggy an overall good tasting pizza worth the money you are charged. This hasn’t happened in the Yukon store in 3 – 4 visits ordering the same pizza (Big Country Pizza), it is overcooked which makes the crust tough, hard and inedible but somehow the rest of the pizza is limp and doughy like it wasn’t cooked enough? I am no chef and am not sure how they accomplish this at the Yukon store but we have never gotten a pizza like that at the expressway location. Anyway, if you want a true hideaway pizza go to another store. Unfortunately, we will probably not return to this store which is less than three miles from us here in Yukon. It will be less frequent and more inconvenient but we will drive in to the Expressway store to get a pizza where it is made correctly and consistent. Like I said we have never gotten an incorrect or poor tasting pizza at the Expressway store. The staff seems nice enough, they just don’t cook a very good pizza.
*UPDATE*– I was hoping the leftovers would taste better than what my review stated about the pizza, so I could find and write something positive about this experience, but it didn’t happen. If you have any leftovers just throw them in the trash because what you will have left after reheating this pizza is a doughy, soggy disgusting mess!

Worse Hideaway location for carryout!!! Very disappointed, ordered chicken parmesan sandwich came home and realized its beef. Asked for cheese pizza instead they gave five cheese pizza. Overall lunch for two was $ 30. I never had issues with other Hideaway locations.

First of all I have been eating Hideaway since the 70s and it’s my favorite pizza ever! I’m thrilled to have Hideaway here but they need to learn timing better. We have gotten pizza to go the last two times and both times the wait has been double the time they have told us. It’s fine to be busy and have a long wait – sometimes it can’t be helped however – telling us a time and then it being double that is unacceptable. Come On Hideaway – you can do better than this! Thank goodness the pizza is still great – and worth the wait!

Great pizza, they don’t have all the stuff from the Stillwater store. But, they will make you whatever you want.
Service was awesome. A little on the slow side, but worth the wait.
I will be returning. I am excited to try new varieties.

What can I say, I am a huge fan of hideaway pizza! We ate here for the first time since they opened up this location a few weeks ago. It it just as good as the other three locations that I have been to previously. My Greek salad was spot on as was the Capone pizza I ordered to go with it. I will be back and am very happy to have a hideaway pizza in Yukon.

First, I will start by saying you can tell this location is new. Most of the staff is friendly, but some are just standing around looking bored or standing in the way of customers and not paying any attention. The food was very good, but seemed to take a little longer then it should have, but no big deal. Over all everything was very good, only complaint is some of the staff could have been a bit friendly to customers.

Bad Receptionist in this place. I love to always give free advertisement on every restaurants we ate at, I have been observing the moment we waited for our table, the receptionist bypassed us twice. They accommodated the good looking guy with party of 4 first before us. When I checked where they seated them it was a booth where me and my family (party of 5) can seat all together in that booth, I have little kids we can all fit in that table. When they finally gave us our table it was the same exact size of table and just gave us an extra chair for the 5^th person in my party. How rude! I felt like we were being snobbed because we are just the only Asian people in the restaurant that time. Racist maybe? I hope not, but the service was really bad!

What is better than having a hideaway in Yukon? Having it right next door to work :)
They have been open for a few days, that would be my guess as the servers and the managers are still trying to get everything figured out. I foresee this place getting packed al the time, so it might be a good idea to beat the crowds and get there early or towards the end of the lunch break. Can’t wait to come here with my friends and have desserts after work. You gotta love Hideaway!
