I had my bridesmaid dress altered here. Nothing too involved just a simple hemming. I have to say the job that was done was pretty terrible. There is a chiffon overlay on the dress and it was about two inches longer than the under layer. I had to hold my dress up all night. I guess shame on me for not putting it on right then and there. I guess I just assumed they would do it right. I don’t mind them for their dry cleaning but not for alterations.

I’ve been bringing my clothes to Norge for dry cleaning and alterations for nearly seven years. They have a fast turnaround time and great customer service, and they do an amazing job. I really like patronizing this family business, which is owned by a lovely woman who works incredibly hard. They have earned my loyalty, and I would recommend Norge to anyone.

This is a large laundromat with several washers and dryers. They also do dry cleaning and wash and press. Not usually very clean. If you have to use a laundromat this would be the one to use.

I’ve been using this same dry cleaners since 2007 and they have NEVER let me down. Deadlines are ALWAYS met and customer service is absolutely awesome. I feel no worries whenever I drop something off there. They can do every alteration imagineable. I bought a sweater or mine here that had no hope and not only did they fix it to my satisfaction they made it look better. This dry cleaners and the folks there are where its at.

This is a pretty typical small-town self-service laundromat and dry cleaners and tailor service. I can only speak for the self-service laundromat part of the business. The location is very close to the hotel we were at, so it was convenient for us. It is also located right on highway 62(Twentynine Palms Highway) so it’s easy to find. Inside, there are about 8 – 10 normal top-load washers, and about an equal number of commercial sized washers. They have roughly 20 standard laundromat-type dryers(2-stacked top and bottom) — some are newer than others. However, many of the machines were out of order(and labeled that way) when we were there. All of the machines are older, probably at least 7 years old if they’re seeing moderate to heavy use. One of the dryers that I tried didn’t close, so I didn’t add money, and the next one I did add money to only ran for about 10 minutes when I feel it should have been thirty(I put in three quarters, and only got 10 minutes). The newer dryers seemed to work okay. I still don’t think the dryers work well, though — a few articles of clothes were still slightly damp when we removed them. The staff were nice — the change machine was out of service as well, so I went to the dry cleaner side to change some bills, and the people there were friendly and efficient(but again, I was only asking them to make change). The place was somewhat busy(my judgement, being a Tuesday late morning when we went in, and seeing about 15 – 20 different people/groups over an hour and a half that we were there). All in all, it’s what I expected for this area, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again when I’m in the area and need to launder some clothes. I should note that, like so many other businesses in this area, they were military — and especially Marine — friendly. There were several sets of dress blues in the dry cleaning area, and they had advertising on the windows for military clthing services(Military Alterations, Name Tapes).
