Bungalows At Chapman Heights

We lived in the bungalows for a couple years. The location was AMAZING! I would walk the kids to school, walk to the grocery store, it was great. We also LOVED the pool.
The rules on the other hand were OUT OF CONTROL!
No food aloud at the pool. No guests aloud at the pool because you are only allowed so many people per home. No parties at the pool (refer back to number of guests allowed). We placed very attractive bamboo around our porch to achieve a bit of privacy and received a note saying it was prohibited as only patio furniture is allowed on the patio.
We paid a decent deposit and did not get a dime back. We had the carpets cleaned and my husband does construction and touched up any wear and tear to the apartment. That blew our mind!
The main lady, Maureen, is very abrasive. When my husband, myself, and our two well behaved children first met with her to go over the rates she told us if she caught us doing drugs she would kick us out immediately. We thought she was joking but she was very serious. We still laugh about that!
Lastly, our bikes were stolen from our porch and my car was broken into.
Overall it was not the best of places to live. For the price I think we could have rented a small home near by.
