Established in 1979.

Michael R. Barrette-​Attorney at Law Admitted to the State Bar of California on November 29, 1979, licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California. Also admitted to practice before the Northern, Eastern and Central Federal District Courts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Michael has also been a Professor of Law at Cal Northern School of Law since 1984, teaching classes in Real Property, Advanced Torts, Legal Writing and Insurance Law.

Michael has been a resident of the Yuba-​Sutter area since 1981. Michael has been a member of the Yuba City Kiwanis Club since 1987 and in 2014 – 2015 serves as its President. Michael is the past President of the Yuba-​Sutter Bar Association, former Assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America and a former Life Scout. Michael is married to his wife Katrina, and has two adult sons. Michael enjoys boating in the Delta, golf and traveling with his wife and family.
