So I’m not exactly sure what just happened here, came in for a manicure only. Lady just basically came and painted my nails. My nail lady was pretty grumpy. She didn’t smile the whole time, and when I realized that she wasn’t going to going to cut my cuticles or shape my nails, she looked upset that I asked her to do so. However my cousins seem to have a good time with their nail ladies! So maybe I had the bad seed? Either way I’m probably gonna check out other places, but wouldn’t come back unless I have too.

I have been going here for years every two weeks. I always get a gel manicure and a pedi. In the last couple months all the staff changed except for a few. The last three times I have gone I had three really bad visits. I kept going back thinking they were just having an off day… I was wrong! The gel is either too thick and lift in a couple days, is blotchy and not even, my cuticles aren’t nipped very well, they cut me or dig in the side of my toe which isn’t necessary and cause an ingrown toenail. I’m done and will not return to waste anymore money on their services.

Half ass pedicure. My cuticles look about the same as before I went in. Unevenly put the top coat on. My first and only time coming here. So frustrated because I go about once a month for a pedi. The place was pretty dirty too.

The ONLY reason I go to get my nails done by others is for the cuticle job. This lady PRETENDED to use her cuticle cutter and then proceeded to sand them off with a file. She let the mask sit for maybe two minutes. Sh put the mask on top of oil so that skin can not absorb any benefits. I will not be returning. This was by far the worst pedicure I’ve ever received.

There are 2ballazio salons both are run by same family I watched the nail techs use dirty instruments on clients that they also used on themselves. worst of all 2 pedicure bowels were never cleaned just rinsed etween three different customers these two places have to be the dirtest and unsanitary places in Yuba city. just observing all the health violations was enough to make me sick needless to say I left If you want cleanliness don’t go to either place they are very dirty but appear ok

It takes A LOT to upset me. I typically don’t go to nail places for the «experience» more so to just get my nails neat for work, so I can handle if things aren’t perfect. BUT this was LITERALLY the WORST nail experience I’ve ever had. This place was dirty, they left my feet in super hot water. When the lady finally came she had a mean scour on her face. Ok, maybe you’re having a rough day. She asks if I’ve been here before and seems annoyed when I say no. I asked for prices and they were extremely over priced. Umm pass. They finally bring me color selections and all (literally all) of the other workers are very obviously making remarks about me since I changed my service type because I didn’t like the pricing. I’m NEVER coming here again ever!!!

Horrible place I went to get my nails done and got one price sat there and waited for 20 min then finally someone attended me only to tell me it was going to be 15.00 more then the price the first guy gave me I totally walked out and went somewhere else I Def won’t ever go here again horrible customer service!

I went here recently to get my nails done. I put my hand in the dryer to dry the polish and when I pulled my hand out there was a BUG stuck to my nails! The lady doing them laughed it off and wiped the bug away. No apology and she didn’t even look concerned. On top of that I STILL HAD TO PAY. Terrible customer service and extremely gross and dirty. Never again.

I have only been here once, but I got a GREAT pedicure!!! It was nice, relaxing, and the man did a great job on my toes :) I think I got the deluxe package, which is a little pricey, but I felt relaxed leaving! It is good to treat yourself as much as you can! I didn’t have an appt, I was a walk in and it was kind of busy but I still got in quickly! I like the location too, since it is close to Starbucks area. Overall, I had a decent experience and would go back again…

I usually go to Galaxy Nails, who have fabulous service but I happened to be at Home Depot & decided to try this place on a whim. BAD choice. Terrible service. I was there nearly 2 HOURS yesterday for a mani/​pedi. I had 3 techs work on me, none were friendly. They did a terrible job removing the gel nail polish, they left remanants behind. I asked the dude putting the clear polish on about it, he said it was just my nails. And to top it all off, when I was paying, they had the nerve to ask or a tip!

I honestly would not give this place 1 star, but have no choice. Some time ago I went in For a trim because I was growing my hair out after having a bob for awhile. I carefully instructed that I wanted a half inch cut off, my layers cleaned up, and that my hair was thick & curly so no razoring. The guy turned me away from the mirror and I couldn’t see what he was doing. When he turned me around I had 3 inches missing and a very short bob. Turns out he also used a razor and when he flat ironed my hair it literally looked like I was wearing a pyramid on my head. I instantly had started crying and explained this was just the opposite of what I wanted. Even if it was what I wanted it looked horrible! On top of that I had to pay for it after talking to the manager. I couldn’t even straighten my hair for 3 months because it looked so bad.

Apparently you have to give this place at least one star, but it is so not worth it! Went with a friend to have pedicures and decided «Sure, I’ll get a manicure, too». From there everything pretty much went downhill fast. I was never offered a menu. Some man just walked up and started clipping my toenails (Okay, that needed to happen, but maybe a «hello» first?). He never acknowledged me except to tell me that OPI was $ 5 more. He hopped back and forth between the mani and pedi and I could never tell when he was done with either. Apparently I wasn’t worth his time because I wasn’t interested in the more expensive polish. The massage on my legs was nice but then he painted my toes and then just took off. Didn’t say anything, just left to work with another customer. None of the other manicurists said anything to me either. I sat there for over 30 minutes with tissue between my toes thinking he would return. Finally, because of my exceptionally full bladder I hailed someone down and asked if I could get up. This guy finally provided me with the little foam sandals so I could at least use the rest room. Oh man, I’m not Suzy Homemaker, but I’ve seen gas station bathrooms that were cleaner. Grime on the floors and walls. Overflowing trash can, old yellow soap dribbles down the wall even though they had pink soap. One of the bulbs was even out. It was really like something out of a bad movie. I returned to my chair to gather my things and wait for my friend who, poor thing, was having an even worse problem, and saw the filth behind the chair. Gross! TWO AND A HALF HOURS after we arrived we were finally leaving. The Assistant Manager had already been contacted about all the problems we were having, including having to fix my friends manicure twice and having two of her cuticles cut in the process. His only solution was to offer $ 10 off my friend’s bill and tell us we should tell the manicurist that they need to go faster. I have had many manicures and pedicures, that was by far the worst I’ve ever been treated. A friend that is a certified germaphobe had recommended the place so I was expecting at the very least cleanliness! I don’t think I can express my disappointment enough! UGH!

I have had my nails done at many different salons throughout Southern California, and I have to say, I was extremely impressed with the service at this salon. Surprised to find the quality of service on my nails. I’ve had acrylics, gel, silk done many times. I’ve had good, great, mediocre, poor and awful service. I know an adept acrylic manicurist and Jaime is definitely that. At Ballazio today I had an acrylic fill with gel overlay, and Jaime did a great job. I came in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Quick, didn’t hurt, done the way I like (thin acrylic layer) and they look wonderful. If this salon was in LA, it would be my go-​to place to have my nails done. Thumbs up!

Awful service and pedicure! The place was full but they had me sit in a chair with my feet soaking. After 25 minutes someone finally showed up and started but after a few minutes got up to take care of another customer without saying anything to me! When she came back I asked of there was someone else who could do my pedicure because she clearly wasn’t interested in giving me what I came in for! She finished and my nails looked terrible. No tip. Got out of there and never going back for their rude and lousy service… There are plenty of other places nearby.

My daughter was tired of the long hair look so she has been bugging me to get a new styled haircut. I got a recommendation from Shonita W. to try this place out. We got here on a Saturday afternoon, not realizing or thinking about how busy a nail/​hair salon would be, but this place was packed. Once I walked in, I think the only guy working (mostly Vietnamese women) there asked me what he could help me with (More like shouted it from the middle of the place). I really liked the fact that no matter how busy they were, they were able to stop for a second and let me know I would be helped shortly.
The left side of the place has about 10 – 15 chairs along with several tables for nails. The right side of the salon has 4 barber style chairs for the haircuts/​hairstyles and a backroom where people are taken to get their eyebrows done. The place looks very professional and clean. Black and white marble tile with soft earth tone colors all over the wall.
After about 15 minutes, one of the ladies escorted us over to the chairs and I showed her a picture my daughter picked out from Google of a short hairstyle. She immediately smiled and acknowledge the «A line» hair style and went to cutting. The haircut took about 20 minutes overall. I could tell she knew what she was doing by her handling skills. She was very friendly and very professional.
Great place, very courteous, efficient, clean, and I thought the prices were good.
Daughter’s haircut $ 15. We will be back, thank you staff…

I visited this nail salon one time with a girlfriend. I am an avid people watcher, and THANK GOD I am! While waiting to get our nails done, I watched one girl in the process of doing a customers nails, go over to a pedicure chair (that had just been used) pick up a small bowl, dump water out of it, and proceed to fill it with a solution at her manicure table and soak her customers hands in it! She never cleaned and sanitized the bowl between pedicure and manicure! Needless to say… I left with no pretty nails, but no foot fungus on my fingers either.

Pretty nice, clean nail and hair salon. I got a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. My nails look fantastic and my toes as perfect. Didn’t give 5 stars because my nails could have gotten better nail polish coverage.
The ladies were pleasant and though they spoke in whatever Asian language non stop which I find rude. Regardless, I will probably make this salon my go to salon from now on, when I am in town.

This is still my most favorite, and only place in Yuba City I will go to, to get my pink and white nails and pedicures. It’s the is not the quickest place though and I do want to update my comment on competitive pricing. For a full set pink and white acrylic nails with gel, a pedicure and a lip wax was running me about 95 – 100 bucks tips included. My husband doesn’t comment, but I feel a bit guilty spending this kind of money once a month, even if the atmosphere is so unlike any other nail salon I have been in. If you are in YC go here, it’s so not Yr typical nail salon.

The ambiance takes you away from Yuba City and leaves you in a calm quiet place to relax. None of the stylists or technicians burden you with a lot of chit chat and instead allow you to sit back and relax and be pampered only asking questions to ensure your satisfaction.
I have very thin hair that when i go other places and they layer it you can see every cut. I hate that. I have never had that issue at Ballazio. Here my scalp gets massaged as they wash my hair and cut it wonderfully each time no matter how disjointed my directions may be i always walk out happy whether it is a dye job or a hair cut.
I have often gotten manicures and pedicures with my girlfriends here as well. Even the basic pedicure involves a foot/​calf massage and hot wax on your heels. The tech ladies are always very nice and let you talk to your friends or just enjoy the massage (the chairs are always in working order as well) and are gentle. I for one have never gotten my cuticles cut to far or bled in going here.
This is my stress regimen, if my week has been rough i just come here and get a pedicure and let them pamper me, relax and unwind.
