History

Established in 1996.

Pascal, owner/​designer/​engineer of Lecoq Construction & Design, moved from Paris, France to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1994 to study at Xavier University. He then won the green card lottery which allowed him to start his own business and pursue his creative passion — solving design/​architecture problems and creating beautiful spaces for his customers. He has experience repairing structural damage and tackles every project with artistic creativity and meticulous attention to detail. In 2013 he relocated to Ypsilanti along with his girlfriend and business partner, Crystal. Since moving to Michigan, Pascal has been blessed to work with some fantastic clients in Brighton, Farmington and other locations in the Detroit metro area. He most recently worked as the designer/​general contractor for a kitchen/​bathroom/​laundry renovation. Pascal is the sole proprietor, creative designer, and tenacious muscle behind every project you see here. Starting his career as a painter and general handyman, Pascal refined his craft. New construction, repair and restoration, remodeling — he eagerly accepted any challenge presented by a client. Pascal takes great pride in restoring and improving existing homes. His talents are best showcased when thoroughly modernizing kitchens and bathrooms while maintaining the original integrity of the home. Pascal’s esthetic is a unique interpretation of classic materials. In his sensible French way he values high quality materials, durable construction and energy efficiency. He puts beauty and functionality into every project. His designs feature a lot of natural stone and hardwoods. He understands how to properly install and finish these materials to showcase their natural beauty and ensure lasting durability. Pascal is a dreamer and a tinkerer and he is always keen to take on a new challenge.
