On the grounds of the old B&O Restaurant is a small building, dubbed the Boxcar Lounge. I popped in hoping to try some Rust Belt Brew. It’s brewed in the old train station, right in premise. See my review of that fine institution at
On both of my visits, it was early, there were a few folks at the bar. It’s small, with about 6 tables, a nice size bar and a small stage. I hear the Friday night karaōke is quite the spectacle. Both times I’ve been there on Bike Night (Thursday). They start showing up around 7.
Service was very friendly, personal actually, without being too much.
I’d recommend the place.
